You are wrong. The certificate of live birth is a short form birth certificate. The Long Form birth certificate is indeed a birth certificate.

It doesn't matter either way, because both are equally valid, and both prove where someone was born.

You know, If Obama walk into people like Basso homes and show them the B.C. with the nurse and Dr. the delivered him, they still would not belieive it. Get over it. The President of the United State is a naturally born American. To say anything thing elkse is a slap in the face of the people whose job is to check on any and all credentials of candidates to the office. To say that Obama is not American is a disrespect to the these people.

This is a waste of time.

Can't we just google his place of birth?:)

And isn't there other news that is more important than wars, economies and presidents... like THE 'royal wedding'

Frankly I would much rather discuss whether Obama was born in the USA than the Royal Wedding.

Exactly.... and it is only going to alienate the Republican party moreso. People are going to start believing that enough is never enough. This is a lose-lose situation for the Republicans.

I don't know that Obama is crafty enough to know that this is how Trump would react, but Trump's reaction is PERFECT for Obama.

Your point is well taken... but the fact is, we don't live in a vacuum. Less than 24 hours after Obama produces his BC, the Republicans are now going for the transcripts... it makes them look childish, and some will argue racist.. everything is done is context... Republicans can't win on this one.

Trump is not a republican he is in business for himself to grab headlines.

I think if you say "the Republicans" are doing something it should be the actual Republican party.

Perception is reality... Trump claims he is a Republican and at this moment is the favorite for the nomination according to the media. I never said Republicans were racist, in fact I don't think race is the reason they are are attacking Obama... I believe it is because he is a democrate President, and hence the enemy...

However, this is no win situation for the Republicans... Trump is doing them no favors.
