IMO, SNAP should be abolished and replaced with comodities. Go back to the days of government cheese. Provide food like canned vegetables and fruits, canned and frozen meats, cheese, pasta/pasta sauce, potatoes, milk, pudding/jello, juices, cereals.

Crop subsidies and Ethanol subsidies are some of the most ridiculous ways that this government wastes money at the expense of the people.
How else are they going to keep my corn at 25-33 cents and make the unneccessary ethanol in my gas cheap?
These types of subsidies that pander to electorates like Iowa are really why there should be limitation on the ability for the government to enact certain measures. If we can continue to democratically elect people that choose the current and the votes and there are limited contraints on them, then we will bankrupt ourselves as most democracies in history have done.
