It's not going to happen, the original alley was turned into the situation room, the current one put in by the Nixons is just one lane in the basement.

I'm half-black and half-white and I consider myself black. As somebody said, why others do it may go back to the days of slavery or even the mid 20th century when blacks were treated as second-class citizens.

    Damn. Crucified.

"If I was the president, then I would state facts
You leave it up to me, I paint the white house black."

That goes back to the 'One Drop Rule'. Wikipedia actually has a pretty good summary of it.

    History is useful knowledge.

Would've been better if he built it outdoor and have a swimming pool close by and then huge bbq grills right next to it.

I'm not hating on Obama because he's half black or anything, it just seems to me that people want him to be president just because of that! That's not a good thing! So what if he becomes the first black president? He still has to represent the whole country, not just the black people. If he sucks, we all suffer! Don't be too proud of the color and hurt the country.

Think of Team, not Individual! This is how you win championships!

Obama is rushing. If elected, he'll fail like Bush. He's still young. He should just run as VP for Hillary and gain some experience. Or at least finish his first term as a senator! What's the rush? You are talking about the presidency of United States, the most powerful nation in the world!

This is like the Knicks making Isiah Thomas president.

I don't know how McCain and Hillary will fair, but as least they have more political experience on a larger scale than Obama. At least McCain served in the military and have been senator since before most of us were born. Well, Bill Clinton didn't serve in the military either. True, but he was governer for over a decade. He knew how to govern. That's why he had more credentials to run for the presidency than Obama.

The Supreme Court has a BBall Court... it's referred to as... The Supreme Court.

House and Senate also have courts.

But if he played on any of those, it would be a separation of powers issue. He might have to play at the Marine Barracks on Capital Hill to avoid any Constitutional crisis.

To paraphrase Kinky Friedman, "Politician is the only occupation I can think of where the more experience you have, the worse you are at your job."

    Vote Obama!

Just because some dude comes up with some slick quote doesn't mean he's correct.

And just because you think you're right, doesn't mean you're correct. And just because I think I'm right, doesn't mean I'm correct.

We all have the right to vote on our principles. If you value experience above all, then by all means, vote for the most experienced candidate. But experience hasn't always translated to success in the White House.

Personally, I'm voting for the guy who I think will be the best President regardless of race and/or 'experience'. It just so happens that Obama has the platform most in line with my own personal views and I happen to think he has , despite his lack of experience, already proven he possesses judgment superior to John "100 years" McCain and Hillary "I voted for the war then, but that was before it was unpopular" Clinton.
