You have to admit it's about as far from a typical black person's upbringing as you could imagine.

I'm sure the average white person can compare their upbringing to Romney (son of a Governer). Dude made over 40M in the last 2 years while paying a whopping 14 % in taxes.

So part of Mitt's upbringing was the last 2 years, ages 62-64? That's pretty bizarre.

Right. I guess you missed the part in parenthesis.

His dad was a CEO of a car company. He ran for President for God's sake. All white people do that. Amirite?

This is such a silly argument.

When anybody is walking down the street in their daily life, they don't have a sign hanging around their neck that says "I was born in Hawaii and went to Harvard" or "My dad is one of the most powerful men in the world".

I'm pretty sure the shared identity and experiences are apart from that.

What if Newt did one for "grumpy Garden gnomes for Gingrich"?

I like the what if game. Can we play more?

You have to admit that you nothing about a typical black person.

Out of curiosity, what is a typical white person's upbringing ...since I assume you are more qualified to give an answer to this question?

Most politicians at the federal level have very, very little in common with their constituency.

What mind you is a "typical black person's upbringing"?

Did Romney have a "typical white man's upbringing"? Is he therefore not a legitimate white person?

I live in Clear Lake and have never waited longer than about 15 minutes to vote. The time I waited 15 minutes was when I showed up before the polls opened so I could get to work on time, when I go after work, I walk in and vote with no wait at all.

Anecdotal, but it supports your theory.
