ending it before they knew about it: that's a neat trick.

As I stated earlier in the thread, no member of the oversight committee had reason to link the White House to Fast and Furious until Obama leaped into the fray with the executive privilege protection for Holder and the F&F files. De facto, that made and makes Obama a part of the oversight investigation.

Obama supporters keep preaching how his administration ended F&F, but they don't have anything to say about how the administration first put F&F on steroids, i.e. wilding expanding F&F before it became an embarrassment.

Bush ended project Gunrunner (wide receiver), not Obama. Obama's Fast and Furious is not the same thing. Not even close. What's more shocking to me is how little these liberals care about 300 dead Mexicans. To them, this is the price you pay for new gun control legislation.

Wide Receiver was very similar to Fast and Furious, just not as big and far more supervised. F&F was virtually uncontrolled and resulted in the deaths of two federal agents and hundreds of Mexican Nationals. Exposure forced the Obama administration to end the program.

Wide receiver was done with the consent of the Mexican government (they were active participants) and led to 1,400 arrests. Bush (Not Obama) shut down the program because the cartels where ripping out the GPS trackers. Fast and Furious was started 2 years later by Obama and had no GPS (the guns weren't tracked), was done with 0 approval from the Mexican government, and led to no arrests (how could it). The only thing similar would be guns were allowed to go across the border. That's it. Not similar at all.

Obama has once made a savvy political move shutting down this republican 'Fast and Furious' abomination -- well timed of course for the 2012 election.

You should quit pretending like you actually do, it's worse than not caring at all. The only thing that you care about is a chance to attack Obama politically.

Not even Pecos Bill could rival KingCheetah for tall tales (sorry, KC, that means "big lies").

Why do you say I don't care about 300+ dead Mexicans?

Did you care about the thousands of Iraqi civilians and American soldiers that were killed in a war that had zero justification? That should've been a much bigger deal than this (not that this isn't a big deal, don't get me wrong), but Republicans still find a way to defend that. The selective outrage is just ridiculous.

I care(d) about those deaths. Don't agree with your zero justification nonsense, but go start another thread.

Point me to the thread where you and your buddies expressed your outrage at those deaths.

I'm enjoying the Republicans 'scurry like rats' approach to taking credit for ending something they created and supported.
