What a dumb post. Your act is tired and your pictures got old during my first reign.

You're clearly trying to avoid answering the valid point that wnes is making surrounding Barack Hussein Ubama's shady dealings with a slum lord. Trying to cover up the facts? What are you ashamed of? Ubama? With good reason, you should be ashamed for BHU. You can judge a man by the company he keeps, that's for sure.

If Obama wins the nomination, he's going to have to expect a lot more dirt been thrown at him. The GOPs are really good at it.

This is a rather strange observation. I mean, just by looking at the title and the first post of this thread, you'd never be able to link it to anything related to China. Obama is a candidate for the president of America, and the federal corruption case that he may or may not be involved in is taking place in America, with American business people. So, the interesting question is how the hell has a thread about something that's totally American turned into a discussion about China?

What exactly does China have to do Obama's alleged involvment in a business scandal? Why would Americans bring up China when they talk about the alleged involvement of an American president candiate in a business scandal involving some American business people who have no relations with China?

In the movie, I think Jack said, "You can't handle the truth!" Great acting job, BTW.

Why would some Americans say such things when they are talking about an American politician and his alleged involvement in an American business scandal that only involve American business people? Where is the logic?

i'm not sure if you could handle the truth, that's why i asked a question, instead of making a statement. i wasn't exactly making a reference to "a few good men" either.

I don't know who KC is referring to (I'd have to google the person), but Sam is making a joke about something you obviously missed. I thought he mentioned it, but perhaps in another thread. wnes accused Sam of going to China and Tibet as an agent of the American government on a mission to foment revolution. Seriously. I'm not kidding. Using that context, you might reconsider your viewpoint of some of Sam's admittedly abrasive (at times, not always) posts. wnes was beyond absurd when he said those things and Sam hasn't forgotten it. Sam actually, from all I've read here and in Hangout, loves China and Tibet. Sam doesn't love China's government. He also likes to pull the leg of those who would give him a hard time. wnes has been having his leg pulled ever since he accused Sam of being in the CIA.

    Does that help?

it makes no sense to me. the topic of this thread has nothing to do with china in the first place, so why would anyone bring it up? sam's "joke" is at best out of place, and at worst an offensive flame bait for some asian/chinese posters here to derail the actual discussion.

like several other people, i do not find his "jokes" funny.

Um, I did suspect SamFisher's activities and motives in his many extended trips to China, which do not look like those of an ordinary tourist. He was not an exchange student or a scholar on some China research project, and he certainly was not a journalist.

But I don't think I have ever said SamFisher worked/works as a CIA agent. Exposing a CIA agent is no laughing matter, even if it's done openly on a basketball forum by a casual observer. This is on public record and in Clutch's personal database. If you can't back up your accusation with evidence, you should consider a self-ban.

Sam a CIA agent in China? Now that's just downright insulting to CIA agents who work hard for our nation.

Are you kidding me? This guy is a fool. American children have safely played with Chinese toys for decades. Sure, there have been some issues of late, but to take such an extreme measure is just stupid. Having this guy in charge of the most powerful country (and economy) in the world is just scary. The guy simply shows his ignorance every additional time he opens his mouth.

Haven't you figured it out by now, Obama is above trivial things like being practical, he is all about change, things will magically fix themselves if we just all hold our hands and chant "together we can".

Obama => Deval Patrick #2, all sizzle no steak.

Except that his proposals for change have a track record of success, and he has also proposed a method for implementing that change.

To pretend like he's just saying we need to change and if you vote for me it will magically happen, just shows people aren't paying close enough attention.

It's easier to be dismissive that way...

Just like the proposal to ban all toys imported from China? Personally, I don't have any problem with that. But do you know, or does he actually know that those toys are all of American and European brands? Do you know or does he know those toys are manufactured with exact design (including material standard) and numbered logos provided by those toy companies? Do you know or does he know same things are happening for most American imports in Wal-Mart? Do you know or does he know all those are counted in Imports from China and Trade Deficit, while Chinese manufacturers making 5% of the profit, American companies taking the rest 95%? How is it feasible to convince American companies to give up that? Are American consumers ready to buy everything made in Italy?

Or are you talking about the proposal that he would meet leaders from Iran and NK in his first year?

What track record are you talking about regarding foreign affairs? What method for implementing that change are you talking about?
