If you don't agree with anything that the OP has said about Obama, man up and try to pick his arguments apart.
Sense of humor is not the same as attacking whatever related to the ethical background of a poster just because you don't like his political viewpoints in absolutely unrelated issues. What he did has ventured into the area of racism.

In 1971, when I spent several months traveling in Europe, mostly by myself, I had to defend being from the United States during some arguments about Vietnam. Of course, I said I wasn't from the US, that I was, in fact, a Texan, was against the war and had been for years, and that I didn't vote for that jerk, Tricky Dick Nixon. Were the Europeans being racist? I didn't think so at the time, but this barrage of posts that turn into racial whining whenever someone says anything remotely construed as being critical of China makes me think I should have. Sounds pretty rediculous, doesn't it? Some folks here with ties of some kind to China always make a criticism of that country into a racial assault against the "Chinese." I think it's worthy of a joke. The alternative is to go to sleep, which is the other strong feeling I have when I read some of this stuff. Some of you have skin so thin that if you didn't wear clothes, you'd be invisible. Impeach Bush.

So what is the tie that you think I have? I would have no problem if he dissed what the other poster has said, but why his ethical background? If you don't agree with what someone has said, I think you should man up and try to pick his posts apart. Note, I don't necessarily disagree with his viewpoint about the historical incidents of the pictures. But I do have problem with him doing that simply because another poster takes a political stance that he doesn't like. I think people who try to derail a thread by doing the above are the ones who have thin skin. But being able to be invisible would be nice.
