So uh...TJ...how do you reconcile the knowledge that Bush would do the same thing? Don't worry, I really don't expect an answer (or at least a logical answer).
is it different if his homeland security adviser is the one saying it on behalf of the administration?
So you admit you were lying. If not, why can't you answer the simple question? It is sad that you have to resort to lying. PIMP SLAPPED
really, the only one talking about "invasion" is you. but please - continue to CONQUER as this has become more entertaining than I suspected it might be.
It's his standard operating procedure. Trader_J sticks his head up his rear, declares victory, and slinks away. D&D. Impeach Bush and Cheney.
Moron. You do however, have a keen grasp of the obvious: any invaded country will either expand their army or go to guerrilla tactics... but to say that every person between certain ages is a de facto member of the army is ludicrous. An army isn't just numbers of people of a certain age... it's logistics and communications and weapons and food and shelter and a bunch of other stuff, including command personnel... which would be incredibly stretched if the increase were just a doubling of the current force. Not to mention training time. Even going guerrilla would require many of these logistical burdens to be met. Additionally, not everyone within that age range would be capable of serving. People have medical problems, disabilities, mental issues, or are just plain cowards (like our Pres)... and would look for ways out. Your defense of your ridiculous assertion is lacking.
mcmark, thank you. I accept your UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER on the issue. Moving on, to answer JockStrapper's question, yes there is a difference between an Administration official making a statement (btw -- other officials have come out against Obama's statements) and the leader / prospective leader of the United States of America making a statement. One has gravitas, one has less. The severity of the threat is weakened significantly when a mere staffer makes the statement, as compared to the leader.
it's certainly interesting. when I first read some of his posts I assumed it was just some 14 year old having fun but now I'm not too sure he doesn't believe what he types. I find it odd that there are people who are more interested in being right, conquering or furthering an agenda than finding the truth. Extreme partisan politics to the extent that what is right doesn't matter as much as being right and having the world (and everyone in it) conform to your vision of how things should be. Utterly unamerican
Oh, Trader_J is utterly American. You know... the 12 year old who thinks he's right about everything, and then runs away when proven wrong. I don't think Trader_J is 12, based on photos posted here on the BBS (not a bad looking goofus, really), but he has the mind of a 12 year old. D&D. Impeach Bush and Cheney.
can't wait for someone to start bringing his economics theories or how much money he supposedly makes
