Obama is very smart and articulate, John Mccain says the same old **** over and over again in every interview he has been in "back in vietnam.."

Let us know when you find someone like that. It's pretty hard to ignore his service as a US Congressman and then a couple of decades as a US Senator-- all of that backlit by his years as a Navy pilot and ultimately a US Prisoner of war--- which is a valuable experience. Who better would know the horror of war than someone like McCain?

As an American i find your Aussie caricature of McCain, Republicans and American voters repugnant.

 

If experience was all that mattered in the presidential process, then I see now how Bush won twice.

Dont get me wrong, Mccain would have been a much better president than George W, because come on lets face, who wouldnt?

The point is, right now, America is at a stage where it needs alot of change and alot of reform.

While Mccain would deliver change , I think Obama will deliver more radical changes, and a more peaceful president.

I dont want US starting wars with Iraq, Russia, and african ban booda nation, a more peaceful approach is needed on the part of the US and someone like mccain who has served his country well may not see it that way, he may see war as the only option since he is a war veteran.

 

I expect an apology. But I won't wait for it.

You claim that Obama will be able to lead, but he has never led anything in his life. You claim that he is smart, and your opinion is likely based upon the canned speeches you've seen on Australia news channels. That's rich. Thanks for that valuable insight. Did you see the McCain/Obama Saddleback meeting? It was a beat-down - advantage McCain. McCain has experience. Obama has a catch phrase. Think, people, think.
