This thread is full of yawn... Typical republican strategy of talking about crap that doesn't mean crap. Next topic please.
I must have really touched a nerve with you. Your position in this election is clearly ignorant, and frankly uninformed. You've drunk the Obama-drone Kool-Aid, and when somebody has called you out on your weak, not well thought-out position, you have taken to personal attacks. That, my friend, is the mark of a weak leader.
RoxRan, Is that all you got, really? I mean really? 1. Bridge to nowhere 2. Raising taxes as a mayor 3. Troopergate 4. Earmarks. Lies lies lies ya... DD
Way to duck the question. Come on tough guy, name one thing you have led? It is not a personal attack to ask you to prove you are what you say you are....you said... Really? What have you led, enlighten us.....please....I await your leadership experience with baited breath.... DD
Uh, no. By the way, have fun trying to impugn this source as liberal. http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/07/19/maliki-i-support-obamas-withdrawal-timetable/ MALIKI: I SUPPORT OBAMA’S WITHDRAWAL TIMETABLE Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki told a German magazine that he supports Barack Obama’s plan to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq within 16 months of taking office. The apparent endorsement of a cornerstone of Obama’s foreign policy drew swift praise from the Obama camp. But the White House stressed that any timelines are contingent on “security gains” in the region. “U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama talks about 16 months. That, we think, would be the right timeframe for a withdrawal, with the possibility of slight changes,” al-Maliki told the magazine Der Spiegel. He said he wants U.S. troops to leave “as soon as possible.” The comments come ahead of Obama’s scheduled meeting with al-Maliki. Obama, who is touring both Afghanistan and Iraq for the first time since becoming a presidential candidate, arrived Saturday in Afghanistan, where he is meeting with U.S. troops. “Senator Obama welcomes Prime Minister Maliki’s support for a 16 month timeline for the redeployment of U.S combat brigades,” Obama foreign policy adviser Susan Rice said in a statement Saturday. “This presents an important opportunity to transition to Iraqi responsibility, while restoring our military and increasing our commitment to finish the fight in Afghanistan.” Al-Maliki said for the first time earlier this month that the U.S. military should work toward a timetable for withdrawal — something President Bush and Obama’s rival John McCain oppose. The White House also reported Friday that Iraq and the United States are discussing a “general time horizon” for reductions in troop levels. Both developments gave Obama fuel in his argument that U.S. involvement in Iraq soon must draw to a close. But al-Maliki’s comments to Der Spiegel seemingly were the deepest the foreign leader has waded into the tense foreign policy debate between the two major presidential candidates. Al-Maliki told the magazine that his comments were “by no means an election endorsement.” But he seemed to refer disparagingly to McCain when he said “short time periods” in Iraq are more “realistic,” while “artificially prolonging the tenure of U.S. troops in Iraq would cause problems.” White House spokesman Scott Stanzel said in response that: “It is our shared view that should the recent security gains continue, we will be able to meet our joint aspirational time horizons. It is because of the president’s bold surge strategy that we’ve been able to achieve the gains we’re seeing today.” McCain went after Obama in his radio address Saturday for announcing his proposed strategies for Afghanistan and Iraq before even departing. “Apparently, he’s confident enough that he won’t find any facts that might change his opinion or alter his strategy. Remarkable,” McCain said, criticizing his rival for initially opposing the troop surge in Iraq. “Today we know that he was wrong,” he said.
I will not reveal personal information on a Rockets message board. I will assure you that I have led. And I'm a good leader. If you want to get into some kind of personal cack measuring contest with me, I suggest you look elsewhere, friend. I will not get personal with you and bring up some of the dubious "leadership" you've shared with the board in the past, either.
Yeah whatever...... "Outside of the numerous girls in the Niagra falls areas"....... You are not a leader, good leaders are not afraid of varying opinions and getting information. Ike was a great leader.......McCain ........not so much. DD
So let me get this straight...Obama was born in 1961...Carter reinstituted registration requirements in 1980 for people born on or after Jan 1st, 1960. So Obama did have to sign up for Selective Service, right? So basically, what this whole thing boils down to is semantics then...he said "when I graduated from High School" (which is pretty open ended in it's own right unless you want to get technical and expect by his words to mean he signed up I guess during his actual commencement) when a more apt statement would be "after I graduated from High School." That's the "big hole" in his story... ...wow.
1. Bridge to nowhere....What lies? She explained her position...If that is a lie, then Obama's gun favor is a lie...Obama's wireless tapping favor is a lie... 2. Raising taxes as a mayor...Where is the lie? 3. Troopergate...biased source of allegations... 4. Earmarks...see what she did as governor vs. mayor...She changed her stance for the better ...Or this this only allowed for the great Persian GOD King Barack Hussein Obama No lies..."just words...just words" from the left... Add Obamas' ties to Ayers the terrorist...Obama's ties to Wright,...His wife not being proud of America...Obama condescending talk of those with religion or guns...His clear disdain on his face throwing the rose in anguish at the 9/11 ceremony...At least his wife was spared the patriotism...It likely would have burned her.... That's change towards disgust........
You are right about one thing, it is disgusting to bury your head in the sand and refuse to see the truth. Unpatriotic of you......people who believe things without proper research are what got Hitler into power.....blindly follow along. In 1776 they had a word for people like BigTexx, RoxRan, and TJ.....they called you guys loyalists. DD
Nope,...He never did...When you get in college, you are exempt...He is a freaking bombastic liar on multiple levels....
What a waste of time, not one source cited.....to show a lie....just words....meanwhile the Obama group has cited, and cited and cited. Can't deal with the Ostrich like Loyalists......oh no..they can't handle the truth. DD
OK... ROXRAN, I know you're passionate about your beliefs... but you're definitely much more level headed than bigtexxx and t_j. "Persian GOD King" Barack Hussein Obama and insults with no substance seriously needs to stop: 1. Barack was raised by his WHITE grandparents. 2. Persian? C'mon now... the guy is AMERICAN and a religious christian at that. 3. GOD King - Hinting at elitism? He wasn't the one saying you aren't rich unless you make 5 million dollars a year. Lets stick to real issues that are important to BOTH sides, such as: 1. How to fix the deficit, both nationwide and at the state level. 2. How to stop consuming so much oil. 3. Ensuring that someone who works 40+ hours a week doesn't have to worry about getting foreclosed on or putting food on the table. 4. Prevent more jobs from going overseas. Issues such as abortion, guns, church/state separation, etc. are def important to some BUT NOT ALL americans. I'll stop with my rambling since I'm just sick of all the crap that I've seen lately. Support your guy and have your reasons for it, but I won't spit in your face if you don't spit in mine (Left vs. Right). We're all going to have to live with each other regardless of who wins.
I just did a quick search over on the Selective Service System website and this is what I found: http://www.sss.gov/FSdiffer.htm
I was kidding...On my research he did...He had to after Carter reinstated in in 1980...But regarding his words verbatim...Since you guys want verbatim from your political enemies...That is the point of him being a liar about what he said....he is a great liar!...
