    You guys are to funny...

For eight years I had to put up with your and the main stream drama-medias whiney comments about anything GW did and now when the worm turns you dare to call me out for posting an article link for a non business related excursion that costs the tax payers 10s of thousands of dollars for a date night on broadway?

    typical liberal statist hypocrisy...

and for the record there were plenty of things I called GW out on and didn't necessarily like. His whole compassionate conservative mantra made me want to gag. His mediacaid bill that put is deep debt for prescription drugs made me write a letter to my congresseman and senators, but apparently they don't listen to the people anymore.

You should get with the program. Obama is an angel that does no wrong and it's unamerican to criticize him. Bush, however, was the devil and did no right.

I did not think it possible, but it appears you have eclipsed basso in thread uselessness. At least he posts humorous articles. You post, literally, nothing of substance. Ever.

so where do you stand on this issue? are you upset that obama took a trip to nyc? if so, were you also upset at our former president's numerous personal trips back and forth to crawford?

How many mega planes go where the president goes? 3? Two 747's and a C-17 Globemaster III? What is the carbon footprint of that? I guess GWB didn't need the beat for crawford so you could scratch that.

i know what it is but you cannot say presidents can never go on non-business related travel.. so basically he has to be locked up in the WH 24X7 except for business-related travel?

you know what the secret service or the presidential protocols? they are supposed to travel with the president whereever he goes.. Obama didn't ask them to go with them.. they are all supposed to go with them..

I can understand Republicans wanting to get back at Liberals for all the bashing they did of Bush.

Now a lot of that Bush bashing was legit. A lot of it was also junk.

So far, conservatives aren't even putting up good junk!

I don't really have a problem with it, perks of the job really. I certainly don't want it abused however.

mell said it best...it's good to be the king.
