It's about reality and how you're not living in it. I agree mar1juana shoud be de-criminalized. I agree wiretapping is bull****. And? Am I going to vote for Romney when he holds the same positions? No. Reality.

So this thread is about being angry at only half the people who are against legalization. That speaks volumes about how serious you are about the topic.

This topic is about how Obama believes that overruling state laws and throwing people in prison for mar1juana possession is the right thing to do. It's not about Mitt Romney.

Yeah, it is. It's about how Mitt Romney will not do anything differently. It's about how, on some very important matters, our 'democracy' doesn't appear to be working very well.

If you are against domestic spying, drone bombings in 3rd world countries, and federal prosecution of mar1juana laws, then you have no realistic candidate in this election. Not a single one of the realistic candidates for office appears to have any interest in doing any of these things differently.

So, this is about Mitt Romney as much as it's about Obama - but it's more about how we don't have good choices, yet again, in the presidential election.

Given the two, I hope Obama wins. At least he's not advocating the old-school robbing-John Doe-to-pay-Daddy Warbucks approach.

Yes. It is critical you do this, particularly if you live in Iowa or Ohio or Nevada. You must let your voice be heard.

It's hurting Obama more than Romney -- Johnson is going around to college campuses (young, naive, dumb voters that Obama covets) and pushing this message. Could be a difference maker in Colorado, in particular.

Dennis Kucinich, Bernie Sanders, and Ron Paul are the only ones I know of and at least two of them are planning on retiring this year, IIRC.

Legalization is not in either party's major platform and I doubt most people agree with it; really not sure what the hell this is all about.

Again it's about only being angry at some of the people who are against legalization and making sure to ignore the others that are against it. Great thread!

Yet Obama shows no concern or contempt towards it or its consequence. The federal law suits him just fine.

As it does Mitt Romney, and almost all other Republicans and Democrats.

Why would he? He has no problem with the law. You think someone who has no problem with a law should show concern or contempt for it? Huh? What planet are you living on? Is this what you're about? Obama agrees with every other major politician in existence that the federal laws on mar1juana are not a problem? Seriously?

You are truly a despicable human being. How can you call the President of your country a s**mbag? And I would absolutely say that to any liberal who said the same about George W. Bush. YOU are the poster child for what's wrong with society.

Welcome to my ignore list, and pretty please, with sugar on top, go f**k yourself.
