Legalizing mar1juana and hemp would have a huge, positive impact on the economy. It sucks that Obama is too stupid to understand that.

article is flawed from the get go. mar1juana is already decriminalized in at least 14 states if you are caught with a small amount... this is taking out the medical mj laws and full legalization efforts entirely out of the equation.

Wait...that saying is for substance use? So that statement means anybody can put anything in their body that they want...I didn't know that's what that meant. Thanks for clearing that up rtsy, you're like totally insightful and stuff.

It's another example of how not liberal Obama is. And, of how mind-numbingly ignorant the trailer-trash who call Obama a "liberal" are.

Then your issue isn't grounded in reality, since plenty of people in here on the left, and possibly supporting Obama have disagreed with him, on legalization and any other number of issues.

But unlike you many people look at what the alternatives are, and what can be done to make the changes. When the alternative is Mitt Romney who won't legalize mar1juana then it's time to move on to other issues where a difference exists between the two.

Actually, can you indicate for me any Republican or Democratic Senators that advocate the legalization of mar1juana. You sound like you're all into the topic so you probably know. Lets see how far out of touch Obama is with his contemporaries.

No other politician's stance on this issue matters. Only the one who never gave any sort of inidcation he would make legalizing mar1juana a huge part of his first term.

Only 3rd parties seem willing to put it in their platform.

Just like all of your threads rtsy - this sucks, but the alternative is Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney will not decriminalize mar1juana. Mitt Romney will not end the drone programs or domestic wiretapping. Mitt Romney will institute the same rich-get-richer policies that tanked us in the first place.

It'd be great if there was a better, realistic option. There is not. Welcome to U.S.A. politics 2012.

But you go ahead ... keep posting these threads and flying into rage mode when anyone disagrees with "your" narrow ideological interpretation of everything.

    And neither will Republicans.

    Also, 2 + 2 = 4.

Yet this topic is about how Obama believes that overruling state laws and throwing people in prison for mar1juana possession is the right thing to do. It's not about Republicans.

Ok. Let me know when you find someone who was for mar1juana legalization and is now against it because of Obama's stance. Better hurry before mommy takes away your internet privileges again.
