This is a very important issue. If we can't get it confirmed if it was mostly full, or full soon, all hell could break loose.
Hmmm, let's hope you snapped a few pics with that fancy blackberry you were using to post with... sent via blackberry
watching msnbc last night, they were saying something about the long wait. I guess the speech really isn't scheduled till after results are in from whatever primary is happening. I don't know. they were also saying something about improper etiquette towards hillary. didn't really catch what they were saying.
They were commenting on Barack starting his speech before Hillary finished hers. A couple of things here.. First off, Hillary went off schedule and started her speech about an hour after she was supposed to. Second, apparently the campaigns agreed that if Hillary would congratulate Obama on the WI win (she didn’t in past “concession” speeches) they would let her finish the speech. When it became clear that she wasn’t going to do it (about 6 minutes into the speech) Obama went on.
I've never heard John McCain talk about education and how the American system intentionally leaves kids behind. I never hear any Republicans talk about property taxes being a bad way to fund education and that's exactly what Obama said last night. He didn't say he hopes the kids in South Texas get an education, he actually said that the education of all children is important to all of us. I've never heard a Republican talk about education as not only a foundation for the work force but as a foundation for good citizenship. Maybe you weren't listening, doesn't sound like you were anyway. I'm sure being in a crowd where minorities were present put you outside of your comfort zone and you probably weren't able to concentrate on the actual speech for fear you might be accosted.
People who were there and really did not want to be there are only going to have negative things to say. He talked about everything that is relevant in the world today. 1. Economy 2. Mortgage Crisis 3. Fighting Terrorist (Not some meaningless War in Iraq) He seems to be the only candidate that has not forgotten about Bin Laden, and is not afraid to say the mans name. 4. Education 5. Taxes He actually talked about his policies also. People say that he never says what he stands for. Are you even listening, he spoke on them all night. But I forgot he spoke for too long. Find some more excuses. When Barack Obama is President of the United States, I will pay higher taxes, but my beliefs tell me that if you make more you should give back more. But you do not see me crying about it. How do you think people feel on the other end of the spectrum. Barely making enough money to get by, and they are still getting taxed to death. While all of the big corporations get tax breaks. Get Real. It is really disturbing that people still make racial comments. I think that you are really upset that whoever your candidate is, cannot draw up this much excitment. So I guess I will get back to eating my watermelon and fried chicken. As soon as I wash it down with my "40" I will head on down to the welfare line and pick up my unemployment check.
It was hilarious. I didn't know what the networks were going to do. CNN opted for both on small screens at the same time (yes with sound from both) then gave way to Obama since he has the momentum.
Did anybody catch what he said about giving a $40K college credit to every college student but will be forced to pay that loan back by doing community service? Hmmm... I wonder how many people are going to actually do community service to pay back that $40K college loan. Also, where is that money going to come from? According to the last census there was about 15.9 million college students. That will be 6.4 Trillion dollars under Obama's plan that the government is going to have to fork out. I don't think you can pay back 6.4 Trillion dollars in community service.
MadMax, Will you be voting for Obama? How does he stand on issues that are important to you as a Christian? How does he stand on economic issues that are important to you? Foreign policy issues? Are you pro-choice? Are you in favor of higher taxes? Including capital gains and dividend tax rates (I presume you own stocks)? Maintaining the death tax? Are you in favor of tearing up trade agreements with foreign countries? Are you in favor of increasing our dependence on foreign oil by restricting drilling in the US? Are you in favor of gay marriage? Are you in favor of a dramatically increased role of government in our health care system? Are you in favor of turning our military's decisions over to the United Nations? Are you in favor of abandoning the Iraqis during their time of need and creating a safe haven for al Qaeda? Could you vote for someone who belongs to a separatist church? Could you vote for someone in favor of increasing the highest marginal personal income tax rate to 50%? Does your position on gun control match his? Obama voters -- have you even considered the issues with your position, or is the celebrity factor and good speech reading enough for you?
who are you supporting, mccain, the tax and spend liberal republican. in the infamous words of my best friend WORRY ABOUT YOUR TEAM
Do you really want to go line for line with your arguments? Some of your opinions are completely off base. Gay Marraige? Separatist Church? Al Qaeda? Since when has this war been about Al Qaeda? I guess after they found all of those WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, and when they found Saddam in that bunker. I do not think the real culprits are hiding in Iraq.
