how quickly they forget that mccain didnt even know there was a financial crisis....the economy is strong according to him. what a joke
Oh wow, what is Obama (former citizen of Kenya) doing during this financial crisis? Apparently instead of working tirelessly to build consensus and create change, he's at the gym working out. Is that leadership? When our country is in need, this guy is at some gym in the downward dog position and warrior pose? Is he even aware of a crisis? Makes you wonder if all he can think about is his appearance before the cameras tonight... The guy is just in over his head, plain and simple. What financial leader would take him seriously after his behavior during this mess? He's a boy amongst men. http://www.politico.com/blogs/anneschroeder/0908/Obama_In_town_working_out.html#comments Obama, headphones, baseball hat, hitting the gym. Spotted working out this a.m. at the Washington Sports Club, near Adams Morgan/Kalorama, from 7:30a - 8:20a.
hey financial genius tj you never responded to my question. i asked you how you felt about mccain leading the charge to follow capitalist strongholds like france and pakistan with the ban on legal short selling of financials. i mean you are a trader, right? you should understand how this works, right?
Obama won my vote when he dunked a basketball. I always know something is iffy about McCain. Oh yeah he call himself a Maverick. I hate the game-rigging Mavericks. Whoever votes for a Maverick post 2005 should receive ban.
Um, I don't think any work was being done yet. I don't why you care much what Obama does with his free time. I'm much more worried with what he does at work.
^^ Highly representative of the depth of thought of the Obamabots. And a sign that America's education system has failed us.
Equally bad is people voting because they think Palin is a babe....look at this bumper sticker....A hero and a hottie....ROFLMAO....NOT !
I trader_jorge a fan of the Rockets, because I really hope not. I hate being a fan of the same team as this joke of a poster.
bACKLASH OH yesth! Administration Official: Bailout Likely, McCain Lost PR Battle Concerned that the public relations battle had turned against their favor, John McCain and the group of conservatives who opposed the outlines of the compromise financial bailout package will likely back away from their recalcitrance, an official close to the Administration tells the Huffington Post. The Republican source, with direct knowledge of the negotiations, said that GOPers and McCain were "scared about the press perception" that they were at fault for "blowing the thing up." The takeover of Washington Mutual on Thursday combined with the continued downturn in the futures and credit markets "also scared them," to the point that a bailout deal seemed within the realm of possibility "over the weekend." The official's tone - more optimistic than that of key figures just last night - signals an end may be in sight on a bailout negotiations. McCain has generally avoided taking a stance on the set of compromise principles agreed to by the administration, Democrats and many Republicans in Congress. But talks stalled during a White House meeting last night, in large part, sources say, because of a power struggle within the House Republican caucus. McCain had left the campaign trail mid-week with a promise to force a consensus. But it seems, at this point, that he will have done relatively little during the negotiations - save for possibly killing the earlier arrangement and providing an opening for the opposition. ------------ According to one Democratic aide familiar with the negotiations, House GOP leadership was hoping to save face with more conservative members on Friday by forcing consideration (at the very least) of some of the alternative proposals - primarily, having the government sell insurance to companies that buy mortgage-backed securities. The leadership would then turn around and praise McCain for greasing the wheels on this front. But the course is problematic. McCain has left town. And during the White House meeting on Thursday night, Barack Obama reportedly brought up discussion of the conservative counterproposal only to have Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson declare it wouldn't work. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/26/administration-official-b_n_129664.html EPIC FAIL!!!
Epic fail by you mc mark. At least McCain is trying to lead this nation, while Obama goes to the gym. ZING!
I had to lol at this. That's one connection I hadn't made. Stupid ****ing FInley stealing the ball from out of bounds!
Wait, so we're pissed he went to the gym now? Are we also pissed that President Bush goes jogging while we're at WAR WITH TERRORISTS?
