I thought the topic was whether depicting the President as a chimp is racist? That is the topic, isn't it?
I don't read a lot of it, since I don't read basso's threads. Are they being given a difficult time? Do they feel put upon? Has life seemed unfair to them? Bummer.
Obama with ape pic is dumb, racist? - maybe, maybe no...but Obama is a very bad president, he is about hand-to hand combat among ourselves and it has shown in Wisconsin, the crazies from the left seem extra crazy...just do a search on youtube for codepink, these crazies really do "hat" america, and I can't think of a time when the liberal crazies were this vile, racist, and hate-filled...all under the george Soros crazy monkey umbrella...fake doctors notes, signs that state Gov. Walker is Hitler...I mean what are we doing? We are at war with each other, and the hilarious thing is Obama was suppose to be a uniter and he is anything but that...The tea party grew exponentially because of Obama's ways and means...He doesn't sound like someone who enjoys finding middle ground as he has stated this :OBAMA: Let me tell you, that -- I -- I -- I -- I'm -- I'm grayer and, you know, I'm a little dinged up. I know there are times where some of you have felt frustrated because we've had t'compromise with the Republicans on some issues. There have been times people are frustrated 'cause we didn't get everything done in the first two years. There have been times where I felt the same way.http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_041511/content/01125107.guest.html Now just listening to that sounds like a dude making excuses, not taking full responsibility, and tying compromise with not getting everything you want...Sorry Obama, but compromise is what unites, the "they can ride in the back of the bus" attitude does nothing to unite, maybe score points with George Soros and the gang, but no real win...He is a complete divider of this country...He has seemingly blamed the lack of accomplishment on the frustrations of compromise..A true indication of a failed President...Someone please put Bill Clinton or Reagan or Truman back in. . .Will we ever have an iconic President again that can lead?
I dunno if Roxran wasted his time reading the topic, but I won't waste more time reading his waste of time.
One question with a short answer: Is this a serious post? If yes, my opinion of you has been blown up. It's hard to believe I actually thought we had some things in common before now.
I dunno if you wasted your time reading this response to how you wasted your time but if you did waste your time please show me the money. . .
One question: what did you think we have in common before and what did you base that on? Please give specific examples or stfu
O by gosh o' golly...It's the what happened to you treatment, like I never had that guilt trip attempted before...The I thought you like Obama and liked trees... #1- you know I lean conservative, but a moderate. #2- I do like being green- I planted 2 santa rosa plums, a red delicious and a golden delicious, and 2 montmorency cherries just this spring (in addition to my 2 peaches planted last year)...I have my vegetable garden next to my water collection barrel, and I actually like the looks of the 3rd gen. Prius... #3 - I like Obama, but he seems to lack leadership especially so lately, and he really seems to blame meeting in the middle on things with the frustration of not getting everything done...Yes, he is a much better choice than a Kerry or Gore as appearing less abrasive to the other political fence, BUt not so much lately... unlike the conservative platform, I believe in energy conservation, and the green movement...To me that is Obama's shining success, but the political games have been his weakness...Let it go...The Wisconsin spectacle has been vile, violent, sickening...Admit when public sector unions are getting over on taxpayers......He started out with a good vision, but he seems to be in a spiral...Smart guy, but Bill Clinton, he is not.. . .
I just wasted some time reading your time wasting reply about how I wasted time to your original waste of time in this waste of time thread. Wait, what?
I don't recall him saying neo-con just that he was being contrarian. You may be right though as I haven't really thought much about New Yorker since then.
If you are a troll and you want to come troll the D&D of this bbs, the logical persona to take is a pompous conservative straw-man. That's what is going to piss off the most people. Don't think of these posters gettting banned as persecuted conservatives -- think of them as outed trolls. That's what they are. Name me a conservative poster who was banned that did not engage in extensive copy/pasta, running away from debate, and/or name-calling. There are sincere conservatives here who debate and debate and have probably never even gotten so much as an email from an admin.
ROX, the fact that you used rushlimbaugh.com as a source is frightening, putting aside the equally disturbing ambivalence about whether depicting the President as an ape/chimp is a racist act (can anyone seriously doubt that? really?). I'm concerned about your mental health now, with sincere due respect. Maybe you need a long nap and a few Xanax, brother.
That would be me. . .All the mods love me except Rockets2K, and that is because I posted up on him and scored multiple times while throwing a few elbows about 6-7 years ago...
