    Oasis all day. They were a staple of 90's rock. Whether you like them or not, that is a fact. An iconic band in Britain too.

    When people say things like this, I always wonder what they consider to be their "one hit song".

    I was kidding Radiohead is one of my favorites but I must say In Rainbows was the last album I liked, could not get into KOL and haven't kept up with anything they might have done after that.

    you should pick up the Masterplan, it's actually a compilation of B-Sides.
    There are actually some B-sides that are missing that are really good.

    Its a good album but I don't know what you are talking about. They are two completely different styles of music. Like someone said earlier, music snobs tend to go for it because of "uniqueness." I like Paranoid Android and a couple of other songs on it, but it really isn't anything special.

    I'm very anti-pop and Oasis does sound more poppish, but there music is like a breath of fresh air. It gives you an amazing feeling I don't think radiohead can. The only song by RH that comes close is Jigsaw Falling into Place. I can listen to that on repeat and still not get tired of it.

    KOL was very mediocre. Seemed rushed and unfinished. Definitely not in the rotation.

    Yeah, I'll agree with that. I was excited when it was first released, but it just hasn't had the staying power for me that the others have.

    Radiohead has to be the most overrated band in history because of statements like these by their fans.

    Radiohead just has a greater body of work.

    OK Computer and In Rainbows were released 10 years apart and masterpieces. That's like Terminator and T2: Judgement Day to put it in Tinman terms.

    Those albums bookend Kid A which was perhaps their most critically celebrated albums (although I like Amnesiac better).

    Oasis could argue they had a greater peak as far as pop culture, but had no staying power and crumbled under their own ego.

    Radiohead = Kobe
    Oasis = TMac

    Oasis was unable to put out a classic album like OK Computer -- many great singles, but no classics.

    I'll take Oasis by a landslide. My Irish coworker who is visiting from the UK also prefers Oasis.
