i think oakley will be great for ensuring that our trigger happy guards play within their roles. now JVG has a 6"9 250 pound thug for our guards to answer to when they blindly brick shots and get turn overs.

btw, does that guy ever smile? he always looks like he is pissed off.

Ah. That explains why Van Gundy likes him.

    Bingo!

Najara, Jake Voskuhl, Bo Outlaw, Swift...those guys...those pesky hard-nosed players.

Ha! This is funny. I thought Yao didn't have to worry about Shaq because he schooled Shaq the last two times he played him!

Well he's one foot in the grave and has a terrible reputation but he's a Rocket for the next ten days. JVG's insistance at bringing in broken down Knicks is starting to worry me.

But then again its worked every time so i'm not giong to bash until I see how it turns out. By bringing in these old players he gives the young guns a chance to learn from them. Maybe 10 days is all it will take for the guys to learn what they need to know from Oak. Elbow to throat, elbow to sternum and this is how you clothesline a guard who has just blown past your backcourt and is driving the lane.

Come to think of it maybe the other forwards will probably get better for this, or killed in practice. As much as I have hated Oak over the years you've gotta respect his work ethic and win or die trying attitude. If nothing else it should be fun to watch. :D
