160. For 10 years. I find it damn near impossible to gain or lose weight. oustide of that bout of food poisoning a while back - oh my god that sucked.
hmm We weigh about the same, but you got about 3 inches on me in height. I guess that means Im a fat b*stard.
I'd say right now probably around 215. I was overweight my entire teen years. Largest I got up to was about 245 around age 18. Last year was probably when I was in the best shape of my life. I was working at a construction site and was down around 190... which is probably about the leanest I will get since I'm 6-2 and have a big build. I moved to Houston last September I've been a little too idle, but I'm starting to work on that now. Playing basketball every chance I get.
Damn, I thought I was a fat ****, but after reading this thread, I don't feel so bad. 225.... and rising every day since marriage. Is this a common phenomenon?
Its not the diabetes that directly causes you to lose weight, its the diet you are restricted to. So don't be so quick to wish that. I wish I could go back in time and take care of myself when I was younger before I was diagnosed with Type II.
I think it is When I settled down from my roaming ways, I was at about 210 (at 6'2" thats pretty close to perfect w/h ratio) now, 16 years later Im at 245-250 A few years back when Atkins was DaDa's latest fetish , I had actually gotten up to 270....I cant see how anyone can stand being that overweight, I got more and more miserable as I got closer to the big 300. Say what you will about Atkins, I dropped from 270-ish to right at 220 in about 6 months. As you can see, Ive let that slip a little, but am working on setting up a workout routine to make up for the time I spend at the computer everyday.
168 at about 5'10" on a good day. That's down about 4 pounds from my normal, since I dedicated myself to the gym again in the past couple of weeks, and started my "not LOW sodium, but lowER sodium" diet the past month and a half or so. Looks like I'm going to have to make some major changes in my life if I want to be the heaviest Rockets fan. Maybe when I'm older.
well, I'm not the heaviest, but I'm not the lightest either...I fluctuate from 208 - 212...I could lose another 10 lbs...I use to be 248 back in the day, but still not heavy enough...
Was at 190 (5 foot 8) smoking cigarettes after every other full court game at Gregory. Dropped the Marlboro 27's mmmmmm Marlboro 27's and lost 30 or so pounds since moving back to Houston a year ago. Reason for the change was that I was trying to get back into real basketball shape for some try outs I had set up for me, but a broken 5th metatarsal in my right foot kinda hurts that as a lefty (hurts like a motha to drive hard off my pivot) Just thinking about that compensation pain in my right knee is making it seem as though it's creaking. Still playing through the pain (no insurance) and driving mostly right, lol. This is a BBS confidentiality type splurge Macalu
