The $ would be paid by the KahNickErBockers and SA would be an FA. And still unwelcome on 'my' team.

Anderson hasn't done anything really massive since the 1999 NBA first round series against the Kings (when he was a member of the Utah Jazz).

I think, like Eisley, it's quite obvious he was made by Sloan and his system. Like a fish out of water, he just fidgets until he dies. But I'd not re-sign Anderson for anything, because that guy burnt his bridges on the way out of Salt Lake.

We cannot have JUWAN HOWARD and SHANDON ANDERSON on the same team.

Which explains perfectly why he would be Jeff Van Gundy's favorite.

Actually, we signed him to that rediculous contract and then traded him for Glen Rice's bigger but shorter contract.

Jeff Van Gundy never played Shandon Anderson when he was there for part of the season why would he play him now?

Hmm...is that true? If so, good point. JVG really is the deciding factor.

Not sure why people are so down on Shandon. He was a good guard. But IMO, he was under utilized under Rudy's offense. Guess how he used Shandon? Yep. "Matt Bullard part 3" That's not Shandon's game. He likes the post and the running game. Just like he did at Utah. And that's one of the main reason we brought him to the Rockets; his past performance with the Jazz.

Any failures of the Rockets past have very little to do with Shandon. If you want someone to blame, blame Rudy (Hakeem's knees), and Francis. Those were our leaders. Not Anderson.

Man, I had a feeling something like this might happen when Sura went down, but I never thought it would materialize into a rumor.

I'm more in agreement with the people who think that this is just a Knick-started rumor, but it does make me wonder if Sura's injury isn't worse than we know.
