[NYTimes] Ridiculous trade proposal is the title of the thread. Not one poster said it was a good idea, most people mocked it for being ridiculous. GET A BRAIN MORANS!

What's your problem? You were the one who posted that "the NBA has the impression that the Rockets are in a tank mode". And why is that. If Yao were playing do you think that impression would even be out there? And yet, there are posters here, and especially in other threads, who would trade Yao for Gasol, Milicic and/or Curry?

Before you tell others to get a brain, watch your spelling first. If you cannot understand the context of my post then you may want go back to school, and read more books instead of basketball blogs, so you can improve your reading comprehension and thereby understand nuances.

Try to be attentive to your teachers too so that you won't miss out on simple spelling. Remember the old NBA slogan? Reading is fundamental.

Doesn't the exception that we received from the league (when it was found out that Yao would be out for the season) effectively lower our salary cap number? If so, that would get rid of even the money savings argument for the trade.

Couldn't they throw in Gilbert Gottfried and Fran Drescher to make the trade a little more appealing??

Umm you just knocked him for the same thing he mentions.

Darko has size, a positive, same thing Durvasa says and the only thing.... same thing you put up.

Next year? What next year, as durvasa says, its an expiring.

curry? you both agreed no. I dont understand your rebuttal.

They're Cardinals fans, for crying out loud! What do you expect? :D

With trade proposals like that by the NY media, I can't wait for the "tanking" Rockets to blow the Knicks out of the building twice this season!

    what a stupid proposal!

Just noticed that the guy who wrote this was Larry Coon -- the CBA FAQ guy. He and Morey know eachother, and he's an expert on salary cap related issues, so maybe the trade isn't as off the wall as I initially assumed.

I think his assumption is that McGrady is someone the Rockets are itching to get rid of, and that winning games this year isn't as much a priority as getting under the LT. I don't think the Rockets are looking at it at that, but I can understand an outsider thinking that's the case.

Rather have last year's T-Mac than those two busts!!!

If T-Mac comes back with a vengeance, they shouldn't trade him. And if they do, they'd have to give up players like Chandler and Lee. No expensive scrubs they want to dump.
