No, especially not with David Andersen here already. Curry might go all "Come and touch it, Dave" again.

McGrady will not be traded before December, book it.

Everyone knows that's Morey's x-mas gift to all rocket fans...

That would be perfect! Then we could only use Andersen as a situational player, great idea.

When talking about how neat it would be to have Milicic's expiring $7.5M contract, it must be kept in mind that we're talking about giving up an expiring $22M contract to get it.

    I'm just saying...

I think the rest of the NBA has this impression we are in tank mode.

They think we aren't trying to compete and are in save money mode.

Morey will not want them even if they are free to have. They will distroy team chemistry.

I like Darko because he is a solid defensive presence even though his offense is suspect. Curry... no way, not interested.

Completely agree. We are being written off before the games are even played... we've discussed how we will be able to cope without Yao/Wafer/Artest so I won't mention that here.

We have the personnel and the coach to hang with any team short of the Lakers and Spurs. Whether we will convert scrappy close-games into wins consistently is what remains to be seen.

Curry is bad, Darko is good.

    define your definition of "good".

he's not even serviceable to me.

I would say he's serviceable. Check out some tape of him playing Yao; if you need someone to bite, kick, and karate chop on defense and rack up fouls, Darko is your man.

The only way we would trade Tmac away is when we can secure a promising player in return, or else he would use Tmac's expiring contract to score whoever we like in the FA.

Darko is ideal backup for Yao, however he's an extiring contract himself. Why do we want to trade for him as a yr rental?

Curry - oh pls no one is going to touch that overpaid fatso.

It's amazing how other teams and fans regard Yao and his tremendous impact on the Rockets, and yet, here are Houston fans trying to dump Yao for crap.

The context of what I am saying is that there seems to be widespread speculation in the NBA that the Rockets, without Yao this season, are not in the running for the playoffs and so may be tanking. Maybe many other people outside Houston have better regard for Yao's importance to the Rockets than Houstonians themselves. Hay carramba.
