    Agree, his defense is underrated, he lacks lateral quickness sure, but he has pretty good basketball IQ, that and hustle makes it up....
    I former seasons, he has been capable of defending Dirk and Amare pretty well....

    The main problem in this year is LOUSY perimeter defense (apart from AB and KM being skinny and weak, Battier seems past his prime in D), that will make the inside defense job A LOT more difficult....

    Yeah, the perimeter D this season, so far, is as bad as I've seen it in years.

    Even when we had Artest and a fit Battier and Yao and were probably the best defensive unit in the game....Scola's defense still sucked :p

    Spurs should be proud - they helped bolster his career.

    but seriously, there's more than a few reasons why he was so dominant in the FIBA 2010 championship.

    This should be Scola's team.
