How many people believe the lie, er version of the story Spicer and the Trump administration is spinning out? Congress should push the FBI to either collaborate the Trump admin story and Comey, if he has any integrity left should correct what is suggested here... that his deputy director initiated the conversation in what is at best is a completely inappropriate and possibly illegal discussion about an investigation in process.

He is hilarious... his spokesperson claims the FBI came to Priebus to discuss the "fake news" about the Russian-Trump conversations, and Trump complains about leaks. All in an effort to cover-up the Russian-Trump connections leading up to Trump becoming President. #CrookedDonald

Apparently, while the FBI refused Trump White House requests to spin stories about Trump admin and campaign interactions with Russia, key republican members of congress including those supposedly investigating agreed to carry the water for Trump. #CrookedGOPCongress

This potential tampering with an FBI investigation deserves continual bumping until it is resolved, since it is potentially criminal activity within the White House.

Trump: 'I haven't called Russia in 10 years'
    http://www.latimes.com/politics/was...called-russia-in-10-1488217752-htmlstory.html

    Well, except on January 28.

    https://www.rt.com/news/375416-putin-trump-telephone-call/

    And this call in November:

And who knows what conversations Trump has had over time with Russians regarding real estate deals he has had in Russia?

He also went to Moscow for the Miss Universe pageant in 2013. Though I'm sure he just showed up unannounced.

I bet your plums were tingling as you were writing this post.

What you've put together is amazing except for the fact he's talking about 10 years before he was president-elect and then president.

No, I'm sure Trump books his own hotel, rental, and airfare on his own. Congrats inspector clouseau, you've cracked the case!

I am sure your highly tune telepathic powers caught the unspoken words you added. Hopefully all of this will be covered in an independent investigation of Trump. Perhaps that investigation will get a peek into those tax returns while they are at it.

President-elect Donald Trump may be trying to downplay his relationship with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, but in an October 2015 interview, he openly admitted to having met the despot.

During the radio interview in question with conservative talk show host Michael Savage, Trump said that he had met Putin “one time … a long time ago” and claimed that he “got along with him great.”

Trump also praised Putin’s atrocities-filled military campaign in Syria, describing it as “wonderful” because the Russians were “really hitting ISIS hard.”

When Savage asked if Trump felt he could “do business with Vladimir” if he was elected president, Trump replied, “Yes, I do. I think I would get along very well. I had the Miss Universe pageant, believe it or not, in Moscow two years ago. I got many of the Russian leaders, the top people in Russia, honestly . . . These are people, they are looking to do things.”

This isn’t the first time that Trump has admitted to having met Putin. His previous occasions included a November 2013 interview with MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts, in which Trump said, “I do have a relationship [with Putin], and I can tell you that he’s very interested in what we’re doing here today.”

In an address at the CPAC conference in March 2014, when he bragged that “Putin even sent me a present” after the Miss Universe contest; at an address at the National Press Club in May 2014, he said, “I spoke, indirectly and directly, with President Putin” during his stay in Moscow for the pageant. During a debate on Fox Business News in November 2015, Trump claimed (inaccurately) that he had gotten to know Putin “very well because we were both on 60 Minutes(which would have been impossible since their footage was shot on different continents).

I am guessing this is your way of coping with both Trump's inability to tell the truth (if not keep his stories straight) and growing call for an independent investigation of Trump and the Russians.

He definitely can't keep his stories straight but that's a far cry from a Trump/Russia conspiracy you keep going on about. Let's just be thankful that Trump's plane didn't land under sniper fire. Scary stuff.

Sure seems a President that can't keep his stories straight (in other words, lies) is pretty scary stuff. Especially when some of his stories he struggles with involve interactions with Russia and their influence on our election process and current government.

Why can't he keep his stories straight?
Here's my guess and this just a guess without any substantial evidence. It's all based on what we already know at this point, and pure speculation beyond that.

Should there be an investigation, Manafort (Trump's former campaign manger) will be prosecuted on various charges regarding his connections with Russia. Trump will initially not be found guilty of direct ties to Russian intelligence agency and illicit ties with Putin. However, he may be charged with his knowledge of Manafort's ties and not doing anything about it or disclosing what he knew about it.

This is just a guess at this point. I'm not basing it on anything other than what is already out there.

It's really odd that you stick up for him in every single way.

But at any rate, if "liberals" (sic) are as zany and stupid as you suggest, there is surely no harm in having a proper investigation of unprecedented election tampering via a special prosecutor, right? I mean, if there's nothing nefarious to find, then what's the harm? There are some republicans now calling for this as well. Do you think they're crazy? How about POTUS #43? He says we have to have an answer to this essential Russia-Trump question. He's right.

I'd think anyone who cares about the country, even a little, wants to know the answer about this connection. The more Trump just tries to avoid it, the worse it looks. And his supporters don't help when they just disregard every sensible question about it. I mean... you're making fun of rimbaud now, which suggests you might not have been keeping track of who's posting what over the last many years.
