Agreed if our current administration and their worries about offending people were in charge during WWII we definitely would not have won the war. I am no fan of FDR and his big Govt and he may have even more "socialist" type policies than Obama but at least he was tough on the enemy.

I'm assuming you're not going to offer up an apology when you realize that you're wrong. Safe assumption?

Sure, just e-mail me your next user ID and I'll apologize to that one.

Very surprising that you have found another kindred spirit who just recently started posting up a storm in the D&D.

    VERY SURPRISING

Is everything a conspiracy theory with you? I do not even know who poprox is or what the exchange was between you two. I do not know the history of him or where is from. I was simply just passing on some advice to him.

so because I have been posting up a storm in the D&D that means I am a former poster? what kind of idiotic logic is that? The truth is sadly that I work nights and weekends so I have all freekin day to do nothing while I'm babysitting my two young kids. I also have a strong political opinion. What I see is someone that doesn't like my political opinion and is trying to discredit me because of it. Sound about right? If so that's pretty Chicken ****!

I am not into name calling here or personal attacks so just wanted to pass on some advice so you can have more meaningful discussions on here. You are going to get your extremes from both sides on here so just ignore those folks if you want to actually have a debate or discussion on a topic.

The lunatic is carried at last to the asylum a confirmed case,
    He will never sleep any more as he did it in the cot in his mother's bedroom;

Legit new posters post in the GARM. This is because this is a ROCKETS FANS BBS. As such, any new poster that immediately starts posting in the D&D is, more likely than not, a new account by a banned user. I used to be one of said users, but then I finished puberty.

That said, you are an extremist. Waterboarding is a form of terrorism. It is not a means to acquire intelligence, no matter what Batman or Jack Bauer might portray.

ahh.. ok i get it now... so as a new poster I am supposed to not post in D&D.. that said how many posts til it's safe to come back? i have been posting in there too, but I see what you're saying. I am however a new user and not a banned user.

As far as being an extremist, maybe, I don't think I am though. Infact I bet if you posted a poll there would be ALOT of people that would agree with the technique. To set the record straight I said from the begining that it is inefective way to get intel.

Of a myriad of depressing threads, this one takes the cake.

Here we have GREAT NEWS for the nation and our troops. Period. Objectively. Congratulations on an excellent achievement, to both us and Pakistan.

All you torture nuts go start another torture thread. That's not the topic of the OP. So you are given great news and you come up with "Obama would have sucked in WWII!" Just an awesome contribution.

Again, GREAT NEWS... for Americans, that is.

Why does our government allow the military to waterboard our soldiers as part of training if it's such horrible torture? Our brave soldiers can be wateboarded but a captured terrorist that is strongly believed to have knowledge of an impending attack (and president Obama agrees this person has knowledge after a briefing) can't be waterboarded?

Uh - they do it precisely because it is torture. Which is why it is a crime.

This is not hard to figure out.
