Ok, avg 32 minutes going 18/4/4 with atleast .42 FG% .323FG% (both under his career avg). Since IF!!! whatever team he's on may be playoff bound by this time and he would have his minutes reduced, final tally will be taken March 15th when things should still be relatively up in the air. Deal?
I like Mcgrady and I've defended him, but he really really needs to stop with the predictions. It makes him look like a fool. Let your game speak for itself.
I think it says a lot that he doesn't have people around him giving him this advice. Either that, or he's ignoring it, which also says a lot.
He just said he was going to be "back" and an all star next year and..now he says this? Sounds like a role player role to me.. This man is insecure.
He even speaks before and after the game in which he didn't play? Amazing. The guy is just amazing. I don't even bother to read his comments closely but I am glad he is ready for the minimum, because that is what he is getting right now (in the best case scenario).
Are you suprised? He said he was gonna make himself a top free agent this summer - FAIL He said he was gonna be much better than at any point last season - FAIl He said he had never been as motivated - FAIL He said he just needed few weeks to get into basketball shape and he was gonna be fine - FAIL He said he was ready to play - FAIL And don't get me wrong. I am not hatin' here. The guy made all those promises before or during the season. HE SAID IT.
