G.Hill had his 7 prime years in really bad injury. He came back and played for Suns, he loses his explosives, but he has high basketball IQ, he has good fundamental, and most important of all, he gives all he has on the court. TMac, on the other hand, has been imagining he's gonna be healthy and an all star again for 2 years already. He just couldn't shut up and prove it on the court. He doesn't realize he's not fundamentally sound and athleticism is critical for his success. He has a big mouth and no brain, and he's making himself a clown. He would be able to find a veteran position somewhere had he not ran his mouth so much. Right now I am not so sure, AI was much better than he is right now and AI couldn't find a right contract.
Who's up for a tipjar bet? I say given 35 minutes per game, he'll put up 18//4/4 next season and 65+ games.
calling the lakers to win the title when his own team was still in the playoffs was also a dick move. quitting on his team during a game (toronto) and forcing his teammates to play 4 on 5 was also a dick move and unforgivable - there is no way to ever redeem yourself after that. telling the media that you could have won titles w/ better teammates is also a dick move.
I'll take that action and I'm a man of my word but lets clear some things up first. Your saying that he WILL avg those minutes and numbers or IF given those minutes he'll avg those numbers?
He's going to get himself out of the league soon. When you are a superstar you can say certain things and get away with them; when you are a role player on the other hand...
Tracy McGrady did not practice and is listed as questionable with a swollen left knee. McGrady was shut down at halftime by the medical staff because of swelling. "It was unusual, even after surgery, I've never had swelling," McGrady said. D'Antoni sat down with McGrady yesterday to deny The Post's report that contended he wants to move on without McGrady next season. D'Antoni told McGrady nothing has been decided but warned McGrady he will need a big summer of work to be considered. LOL i have been a tmac supporter long enough to be dissappointed WAY too many times. he is talking out of his @ss to get a contract. he will never be the same 'tmac'. but i do think he could be an excellent veteran PG for a contender.
I agree, ala Sam Cassell for the Celtics lol. On a more serious note, that knee thing is sounding kind of scary. I think that he can be decent again and wish him the best.
IF given those minutes. I'm thinking that's a fair bet since he is averaging ~25 minutes right off the bat. I understand your concern but I think we can be fairly certain, given our understanding of his personality, that he will not sign with anyone who doesn't give him those minutes. I'm willing to bring it down to 32 minutes. My only concern, in all sincerity, is that he does average those numbers but with a horrible FG%. This would mean I could win the bet although he would be playing like trash, which is not what I want. Any ideas?
Tracy still hasn't learned the art of stfu. we'll he still be talking when he's out of the league next year?
