Good lord, as if ESPN couldn’t get any worse…by far the worst sports network and channel aside from Fox.

 

Where will @tinman get his NBA intel from now that the Jump is cancelled and steven A's show is watered down? We need to look out for our 99ers

to me, she was unlikeable because she wanted to come off so hard as genuine/authentic who has great relationships with the players. it wasn't believable, it wasn't that entertaining, her quirkiness wasn't interesting.. it's like hanging out with a friend who just tries too hard. sometimes just sit down and chill, you don't have to like my rockets but just be more real and consistent. comparing to inside the nba prob isn't fair but wow night and day

 

I liked the jump. I thought it was great compared to hours of just stephen a smith and some random white dude argue that water is wet. It's sad to see it go down the way it did. Hope some other sports channel picks her up.
Hope she sues the hell out of Espn!

 

What we think of her is irrelevant and for all the hot take shows, she at least tried to have regular conversations with some interesting former players. Her interviews with players were good, especially considering her twang. I was far from a fan, but she was by far one of the better personalities to have a show.

I'm surprised but maybe I shouldn't be. ESPN does not like the personalities on their shows to become too big; it's why Dan Patrick left when he did. Plus, they can get someone cheaper who will fill her spots just fine.

 

This is borderline hilarious. Not that she got taken off the air. But that it's such a non-story (seriously, who actually cares?). I doubt most sports fans would even miss her, or frankly could care even less about which female personality replaces her.

ESPN used to be one of the sole reasons, I justified having to pay for cable. After, their hostility towards teams they don't like, and their lack of being impartial in how they cover sports; I cut the cord!!!!

 

It'd be super interesting if NBC decided to sign Nichols to pair her with Maria Taylor.

Nichols gets a chance at reconciliation, NBC gets goodwill for trying to repair Nichols' image and Maria Taylor gets to be the bigger woman in this whole saga.
