Yup and Isiah keeps taking on more crappy contracts.

Way to be the trash can of the league Isiah. If we ever need to dump more contracts, we know where to go.

If I can survive having Nick the Prick on my team, I can handle Franchise.

Now there are rumors of K-Mart to Chicago. The Nugs are going to stay busy until the deadline it looks like.

How many big contracts would Denver have?

Kenyon has the max, Camby and Miller both have big deals, Francis has the max and Melo is guarenteed a max deal.

It would be a Knicks payroll with actual talent though.

Not enough, though. Their not playing great right now, but the way they got destroyed in the 3rd quarter by the Warriors last night was pathetic. Do they even try and play defense.

On the bright side, they are still winning that division and that dark blue/light blue road uniform (same one they wore in Houston earlier in the year) is awesome.

"Former Mavs coach DonNelson has shot a pilot for an untitled television movie, a comedy, about an expansion basketball team named the San Diego Stingrays. George Clooney is the producer and is trying to sell it to HBO or Showtime.

...Vlade Divac , Norm Nixon and Marques Johnson had roles, and much of the script was ad-libbed. There was one scene, Nelson recounted, where the Stingrays are thinking about signing a new player. A sportswriter, Peter Vecsey , is quoted by general manager Nixon as saying two or three other teams are interested in the player. "Who cares?" Nelson said. "He's wrong over half the time anyway""

We're struggling right now, that's for sure. I can't figure it out either. All of a sudden, the team has just fallen apart. I think Kiki gets a deal done, whether it's K-Mart for Gordon, Nene/Watson for Francis or (the new one)K-Mart for Nickel and Channing Frye.

What a horrendous trade that would be for the Knicks. Yet again trading young cheap talent for an overpaid, minimal upgrade at best. They could have had Camby and Nene/Amare if they didn't do that deal for Mcdyess. Just horrible decision making. But I guess that's about par for the course for Isiah.

I think Steve would drive George Karl nuts. I was watching some NBA Insider thing today, and Karl was yelling at his team "Whatever you do, DON'T HOLD THE BALL! Pass it, should it, drive it. Just don't hold it!"

I haven't seen all the Nugs games this year, but I've seen a few, and I really don't see any of those deals helping them that much. Frye would be a good rookie to build with down the road, but doesn't really help immediately. The Nuggets dilemma seems to be that even though K-Mart is overpaid, they really need the frontcourt help.

You mean a team with a starting five of:

    Camby
    Martin
    Melo
    Francis
    Miller

    that wouldn't scare you?

It would be talented, but I don't see it scaring the Mavs, Spurs or Suns...or even a fully healthy Rockets.

Phoenix proved last year you can't win on offense alone. Camby is good at weak side shotblocking and rebounding, but they are too weak on defese, and Steve doesn't help that.

What's more, I don't see Francis fitting in well with that team.
