    DD,

You are making Sam's case with different words. In Sam's day, if you hacked you dealt with it. "Play until you hear the whistle" is what I tell my 11 yr. YMCA team. Today, you play as though you are going to get a whistle.

I don't think it is any softer, it is just called differently by the refs....and actually I think it is an upgrade.

One thing is certain, back in the day, the rockets had some young clutch players. It is amazing how many so called mid-level clutch players we had on that team.

    Cassell
    Horry
    Elle
even Mad Max, before he's warts that came out.

All of them are legendary clutch players. And of course hakeem. Imagine what we would have done if we didn't flinch and make the trade to beat seattle.

As these players begin to retire, it is amazing what they did over their careers. F San Antonio for taking them!

what do you mean even Mad Max?
Max made the craziest of all the Clutch shots. Let's not forget Game 7 of the NBA Finals for the 1st championship ever!
