It has to do with your post that I was responding to where your brought up Trump. And nope, Hillary Clinton says dumb things all the time so it's not really surprising to me anymore.

I am happy bigtexx is taking all the candidates to task for racist humor. And is willing to look at Ted Cruz. The Ted Cruz who celebrated Super Tuesday at The Redneck Cafe, owned by Michael Berry, who's racist humor is noted here:

Looking forward to bigtexx criticizing Ted Cruz. I am certain bigtexx won't minimize these racist comments, will he?

What a fail on your part. It was the Redneck Country Club.

And if you want to get into "friends who make racist comments", then you might want to look into where Barack used to attend church in Chicago... hint: don't go there, you'll lose (again)

I think it's safe to say you've never been to the Redneck Country Club? It's a cool place, pretty popular here. People of all races go.

Totally agree, I definitely won't be voting for de Blasio for mayor in the next election.

No, I haven't obviously... I wouldn't support a business by Michael Berry, who I have heard enough to know his attempts at "satire" are the same if not worse than what the OP was criticizing.

Let's see... would you describe that as minimizing or rationalizing?

btw, LOL at the Rev Wright reference. Should we also look at the rantings of one Rafael Cruz?

I had to read the entire article to get the joke. Didn't know what CP was going to stand for. Not familiar with the idea that black people are habitually late to appointments. When I think of people with reputations for being habitually late, I think of Italians and Indians/Pakistanis. A Pakistani friend invited me to his wedding and the invite said 7 o'clock. But he told me it says 7 but no one will show up until 9, it won't start rolling until 10 and the reception won't start till midnight. So I am not at all familiar with this idea of CP time. Maybe I'm just living in a cave, or maybe it's a New York thing. If I was there, the joke would have gone over my head.

Granted it was cringe worthy, so cringe, and move on. It's a tiny cringe in an election of jaw dropping, embarrassing rhetoric with 0 gravitas or statesmanship, it's hard to believe that politics have been reduced to reality TV.

I will miss Mr. Obama every day after January. Ms. Obama too.

Another example of minimizing racist jokes and deflecting. Shame on you.

If she wanted to tell a real joke, she should have said this:

    President Hillary Clinton.

OP tries to mask his own racism by acting like he cares about this kind of dumb crap.

I've loved his past "I love the blacks"-type posts. Those were the best.

    Sigh. Keep on trying, though.

And the s**ts...um, the hits keep on coming.

Somebody get this guy some medication?

Putting your record in perspective isn't deflecting. Minorities can deal with stupid jokes just fine, in fact that's the easy stuff, but thanks for your faux concern. I'll remember that the next time some black kid gets shot for reaching for his imaginary cell phone and you ask if he was running like he stole something or if he was on crack.

All you can do is minimize, dodge and deflect. Telling.

Perpetuating a racist stereotype is never the right thing to do.
