At least it's my words, and not piggy backing off right wing Op Ed's, and then acting ambivalent when I get called out for bad takes. Feel free to use the ignore feature if I bother you. I feel it's important given the topic to actually remind people of the story of LBJ and Lincoln's evolution on landmark policy that has impacted our countries history. Sorry if that story is "long-winded" or a "rant"... history isn't often wrapped up in a 280 character tweet.

And yet, you don't dispute any of it.

What was the point of the article you posted? You knew exactly what the responses were going to be. Do you think and feel exactly like you did 10, 20, 30 years ago? Of course not. Because most people evolve. Some devolve.

For most of my adult life it seems like one side cares to the point they will try to engage with nuance and the other side this it's funny why people care too much and then just dedicate hours online trolling which ironically means they are the ones triggered because they invest hours trolling online just because people care enough to invest time reading and writing about issues they care about.

I believe I responded (mostly) with nuance on the abortion thread, but some people are so pre-triggered that they don't even want to read it.

They just get angry at what they tell me I am really thinking. So many examples of this.

It’s a difficult issue. I’m sure many people have mixed feelings on Roe v. Wade, and of course some do not. I wouldn’t want any of my family members to have an abortion, and I would encourage them not to. But, I think women should have the right to decide for themselves.

    Nobody reads or watches anything

look at the Dave Chappelle and the Netflix
If these people actually watch the entire special they will find out he dedicated to his trans friend

but you have these lemmings just believing everything

it’s no different from Jussie Smollett

what gets them triggered are four letter words

All Colin Wright managed to do in his sad Op-Ed was demonstrate an ability to mouth off right wing red herrings. Dude may have voted Democrat in the past but more than likely he was always a conservative with a mediocre intellect.
