Never liked apples or just about any fruit as a kid. Just started eating apples as a adult. I can not really taste a difference in the kinds I have tried. I'll have to add a asian pear to my grocery list.
Just here to say that red delicious apples are awful and I don't understand who would choose them over other apples.
How does one become an apple historian? Honeycrisp are probably my favorite variety of apple, but since they are typically pretty expensive I go with Pink Lady (sometimes called Cripps). They are especially tart, which I like.
Alright, you are correct and you have reminded me to re-evaluate my position. The only good use for apples is mixing a dash of apple juice with this particular and awesome Polish vodka: 3 parts Zubrowka, 1 part apple juice, on the rocks. Sip. Repeat as needed.
