Verbiage - manner or style of expressing something in words

You arrange your words in such a manner that would indicate correctness or prior knowledge in regard to situations with which you have no more knowledge or insight than Adam.

My name has nothing to do with the word "hero".

If you're the nuggets, wouldn't you rather have Aaron Brooks?

Obviously, they are entering rebuilding mode. With Brooks, you go from almost 34 yr old Chauncey Billups to a talented 25 yr old Brooks.

Yes, his contract expires, but maybe they can convince him to stay. Kevin Martin will be there making a lot of money for 3 more years, and, while he is an awesome role player, he isn't someone you build around.

I feel like taking Kevin Martin and his contract over Brooks is like trying to stay in a place between contending for a title and rebuilding, a place where no one wants to be. If you're rebuilding, you might as well go all-in.

Probably because he's against the signing of Melo, a player alot of people want to see in Rockets red.

But some people take things too far. I might disagree with DD, but I would never call him or anybody else a moron.

A lineup that consists of Billups/Martin/Harrington/Martin/Nene can still be competitive, if they want to go that route.

I'm not sorry. As long as you're willfully arrogant while being woefully incorrect I'll carry the same opinion.

I'll leave the ass kissing to the sycophants that still think your words are well founded.

I know I am going against conventional wisdom that says Melo is right up there with the LeBron and Durants of the league, but I have fully convinced myself that I'd rather go with the team we have now rather than trade any of them for Melo.

    Is that bad?

I'm not saying they would be rebuilding around Brooks. He has a small salary and is a young talent. That's what you want when you are rebuilding.

Well if you want to be content with mediocrity, then no it's not bad.

This team as is, especially with the little 24 minute stints by Yao, not good enough to go deep into the playoffs but not bad enough to be in the lottery.

    Woohoo!

I'd trade Martin for Carmelo, obviously, but I think we can still offer a lot without him. And it just doesn't make sense if they don't want to take on a lot of salary.

Course not. I wouldn't pay more for Melo to do the same things that Martin does. Besides, Martin seems to play well with the current roster. Why add a potential player who probably would want the limelight all to himself?

That is just silly, getting Melo is no greater chance of success than what we have now...

What we do know is that the chemistry of the players now works, and adding Melo in is a big big chemistry risk.

These things blow up more often than they work out....see Tmac....

Don't be so hasty because a good player is interested in Houston, there are a lot of factors to consider teamwise before you pull the trigger and break up multiple pieces that you KNOW fit.
