    And btw,

I wish Francis was quoted saying that about Barkley. I can't believe how that clown gets so much love from the media and fans. The same clown that spit on a little girl. The same clown that threw a midget threw a window. The same clown who couldn't get along with Drexler. The same clown who said he was going to try to give up drinking his second year in Houston to improve his play, who promptly gave up after about a month saying it wasn't helping. Yeah, what a freakin role model.

Wisebrod started the public feud with Tmac by bashing him first. Tmac was just responding to an inmature GM who doesn't know how to deal with player relations in public. JVG and CD have always made good comments regarding Francis in public since the trade. So I would have to say there are some differences between tmac's and Francis's comments.

geez, lay off the guy. he played his heart out day in and day out for us, just because he no longer wears reockets red doesnt mean you can go all wild on him. he said what he felt and it isnt like he ran his mouth day in and day out about the rockets. im glad stevie is doing well...just as long as he doesnt do well when he plays us;)

My sympathy goes out to all the SOFs here. I do feel your continuing pain and frustation in defending SF. :D
Anyway, I think SF is only somewhat out of line here. Look, the guy is only speaking his own mind, kind of expected from him. It's much better than JVG's double-talk, such as while Yao was out with the flu,

"It depends on which Yao we have," Van Gundy said. "If we have the alert, aggressive Yao, we can score in the paint better. But any team can survive two or there games without a player like him, but it's hard to do in the long term."

    Who cares what he said?

This is turing into 90210. Steve said this, and maybe implied this.

This si more about the posters and your disagreements than anything else.

Ya think Weisbrod did anything to spur that on? Naaaaa.... and of course we know JVG has been blasting Francis in the press, right?

Hmm. A manager who feels like his subordinates should recognize and respect his authority instead the other way 'round. What a concept

Francis is still mad at JVG exposing him in the super bowl incident. He expected coaches to wipe his a$$ for him, but what he got was the iron boot of JVG in the rear. Why can't he keep his mouth shut? JVG and CD said nothing negative of him after the trade. If JVG is down to the level of Francis, he would've made comparison between Francis and T-Mac:" 13 in 35 seconds?! Have you ever seen that from the so called Franchise?" Then the SOFs would be infuriated to the point of pulling our the rest of JVG's hair one by one. Of course, when it's Francis' turn doing basically the same thing, the SOFs jump out doing CPR to the half dead Francis public image.
