    You'd be surprised how many Rocket fans are out here. The media and fans still love the Bald Guy!

    we will lead the series vs Dallas by a 2-0. And this time, it will turn out to be a blow out. History will not be always the same.

    good points. But honestly, NY was much stronger than 8th seed. It was not hard to expect they would win East at playoff begining.

    Anything can happen in a seven game series. I will not be surprised if two of the big 3 in the West get upset in the first round of the playoffs.

    I live in San Francisco, and it would be a great pleasure to see GS destroy the mavs. I HATE that team and thier fans. Not many dallass fans here in the bay area thankfully.

    Johnson's very good. Very odd, to me, that he and Hollinger ended up in a place like the NY Sun. Luckily, they have the Times behind and that helps with the circ, but it's still odd to me. Two of the best NBA columnists out there, and they're at this 6th-place (in the city) paper.

    before we worry about the big 3, we should focus on first knocking off no. 4..

    Its sad how little attention we get. If teams like Cleveland get hot, suddenly its news worthy. If Houston is suddenly winning a bunch of games, it doesn't mean **** apparently. And the funny thing is that you take out the injuries to Tmac and Yao and we are playing at a .700 clip.

    I think that's what he meant. The first time it happened, it helped us win a championship and the last time it happened, our current coach was the coach of that team.

    If it happened again this year, it would definitely help our chances. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd rather play the Warriors in the second round rather than the Mavericks.

    Exactly, I am rooting on GS getting the 8th seed. This would be huge even if they can just make the Mav's life hell (take to 6 or 7 games) that may be enough for Rockets to beat Mavs. But Nelly KNOWS that team he BUILT that team, GS CAN BEAT THE MAVERICKS (prob only team in playoffs they can beat oddly enough).

    Omg what a series that would be!

    Jesus Christ, who wrote this article? It's full of grammatical errors that it feels like someone wrote it for a forum and copy and pasted it to the website. I'm sorry. I can't take any article serious when it has that many mistakes in it's grammar.

    Gee, I don't know. GSW would have to beat DAL on the road, and looking at GSW's W-L on the road it would be a tough row to hoe...

    This is how we look compared to rest of the league, since March 4. (Yao came back on March 5th)
    Right now could be considered most could Crunch Time, since it's well after the all-star break and teams
    are getting ready for the playoffs.

    Hou. = 7-2
    102.89 ppg 90.2 ppa vs. previous 9 games (w/o Yao) (5-4, 93.1 ppg 95.7ppa)Yao (after a broken leg) 21.2 ppg / 9.5 rpg/1.5 bpg/
    12 + 16= 28 ppa (14 ppg) vs. 47 pps (23.5 ppg) (back to back nights against Dwight Howard and Amare)
    T-Mac 23.1 ppg/7.3 ast/

    To all the haters and critics who thought we might actually be a better team without Yao, are looking pretty bad right now.

    Pho. = 7-2
    106 ppg 104.8 ppa
    Nash 19.2 ppg, 10.25 ast

    Det. = 6-3
    107.4 ppg 88.4 ppa

    Dal. = 6-2
    103.1 ppg 95.4 ppa
    Dirk= 23.6 ppg, 9.8 rebs.,

    Mia = 8 - 1
    95.6 ppg 88.3 ppa

    S.A = 8-2
    92.5 ppg 85.8 ppa

    Uta = 4-5 (got swept on the East coast)
    95.4 ppg 89.6 ppa

    L.A. = 2-6
    95.8 ppg 108.5 ppa
    Kobe (in the last 7 games, DNP 1) = 38 ppg, 6.9 rebs, 5.1 ast

    Den= 6-2
    105.3 ppg 97.4 ppa
    Iverson 25.5 ppg, 7.8 ast
    Melo 25.9 ppg

    Cle. = 7-2
    99.9 ppg 93 ppa
    Lebron (in last 8 games) = 31.5 ppg, 8.6 rebs, 6.8 ast.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1) I notice that we are in the top 10 in scoring with Yao (post injury) for some odd... :confused: , even tough people say we struggle to score points.

    2) We have the largest margin of victories after Detroit.

    Detroit is 19 pt margin, while we have 12 pt margin a game.

    3) The Suns aren't far and away the best team on offense at least in the last 8 or 9 games. (They are only averaging 4 more points than us, but at the same time they are allowing 14 more pts. than we do.)

    4) SA and Det are still probably the best defensive teams in the league. Actually, Mia has or is showing it's a pretty good team defensively, too.

    5) The teams who weren't or aren't at full strength or getting new players seemed to be rounding into playoff form.

    6) At least on paper, we look like one of most dominate teams in the league, but in reality people might think we are be just a little bit above average.

    7) Kobe and Lebron are monsters among men.

    I kind of pissed that this is coming when it is. This is the type of thing that Utah can hang on the locker room wall and say how they don't get any respect
