I hope T-mac gets them to the playoffs...

I hate the Jazz more than I hate T-mac.

WHAT???? tmac was not to blame for anything that went wrong in houston, he played fine in the playoffs he won games for us, he may not be kobe or lebron but he and yao were the only things that gave us a chance in the playoffs. check his numbers, look back at vid, he worked his ass off in the playoffs stop slandering his name unless you plan on knocking him for something he actually did wrong

jvg's failures in hou came from management, you can't throw two stars together with a bunch of washed up trash (minus sura and jb who were sadly at the end of their careers) and expect them to win, they did about all they could with the offensive talent they had, which was basically yao and tracy.

i love jvg, but he, like adelman, can't be expected to win much of anything without significant talent, this league is just too good. i thought this team with yao was enough, but i dont think so anymore, not enough for a ring, we dont need an allstar guard, but we need a solid 2 that can score, defend, and can create his own shot, or shot for others, as of now we don't have any really good passers, brooks does what he can but his passes are risky and difficult (due to his size). we are still going to be a small team when yao comes out so we need a backup center that can close the gap when he is on the bench

he's a major part of the teams that failed in the playoffs.

    Yes he is.

If you can give credit for Tmac being part of the success, then he's part of the failure too.

I'm tired of the T-Mac free pass card here.

    This is a newb excuse

There is something called a salary cap.

Yao and Tmac are getting paid cause they are suppose to be the best players on the team.

You can't assemble an all star team in the NBA.

Every team in the nba has role players on their team to complement their stars. You can't assemble a super team like the Yankees.

Don't be mad at Tinman................see he's mad at McGrady because McGrady did him dirty.

Tracy promised he would call the next day and he didn't.

According to Tmac history, he will not make organization mad at his last year contract.

I honestly think McGrady will play pretty well wherever he lands. He won't average over 20pts or anything, but he has talent. If he can accept a "team player" role, then he will help someone. Great passer, smart player, above average rebounder. I wonder how much $ he will be able to get as a FA. Any guesses?

    Wow. Terrible.

    Lakers:
    Kobe
    Artest
    Odom
    Gasol
Bynum (probably the 3-5th best center in the league)

    Role players: Shasha, Walton, Brown

    Celtics:
    Pierce
    Garnett
    Wallace
    Rondo
    Allen

Role players: House, Perkins, Tony Allen, Davis

    Cavs:
    Lebron
    Mo Williams
    Jamison
    Shaq

Role Players: Gibson, Varejao, Moon, Parker

    Magic:
    Howard
    Carter
    Lewis
    Nelson

Role players: Barnes, Pietrus, Gortat, Williams

Really this was your TMac argument for his failures.

Do you really want to compare those role players and All Star players to the Rox years between 04-08? It would take a complete brain fart to think those rosters were not by far and away better than any Rox roster the last 5 years.

I mean, really? Juwon Howard, David Wesley, Sura compares to those teams listed above?

Or is it Rafer Alston, Chuck Hayes, Battier?

    Jeebus.

How do you like those All Stars. Every one of those teams have at least 4 of them in their starting lineup.

I think that if he does the things you describe, he is worth MLE money.

JVG said that TMac had the highest basketball IQ in the league. That's why he takes those 18 foot fade away jumpshots early in the shot clock that only have a 25% chance of going in. JVG is clueless.
