    Francis returns

Steve Francis (knee), who had not played since Dec. 29, returned last night and scored 13 points off the bench. He also had seven rebounds, two assists and three turnovers in 20:43 of action after missing 17 straight games.

The Knicks still are hoping that they can trade Francis by the Feb. 22 deadline. If the guard isn't dealt, there is a strong possibility that he and the Knicks will negotiate a buyout.

That right there is a Stevie Francis line if I've ever seen one. There is both the WOW factor of 7 rebounds in 20 minutes - and the mumble factor of 3 TOs in 20 minutes. The Franchise is a conflict diamond.

Coach Zeke is smoking crack if he thinks anyone will make a trade for Steve Francis without giving them complete rubbish, plus bad contracts, in return.

Screw Mike James, if we pick up a PG, I hope its Steve Francis. He gets cut, and we sign him to the vets min. Small price to pay for a player like Francis.

This is terrible for Memphis. They get an incredibly bloated contract, a decent young player who may or may not pan out and draft picks in the wild blue yonder for a star player. If the Knicks hadn't traded this years lottery pick to the Bulls, there might be a slim and none chance. If you mean 3 consecutive #1 picks in 08, 09 & 10, then this deal could happen.

If the Knicks trade SF for anything of value before the trade deadline, the other GM snags Zeke's crown for most incompetent GM.

Did yall see Zeke go berzerk in that Utah loss after David Lee got a T late in the OT after a made dunk. First off, that NY team would turn a church boy into a thug. And for a cocah lost cool like that, it's just absurd. NYK is a bad team, period.
