enbehay- Chenowith couldn't even handle Chris Owens and James Thomas. What makes you think he could play in the NBA?

btw: since it is a 3-way trade, can't a demand be placed on Dallas, instead of NY?

Because Chenowth comes from a solid program, graduated, had a good tryout, would be a cheap, bonus rookie in camp (we don't have to keep him since he was a second rounder), and is a better option than having a teeny-tiny PF trying to play center. It's not like I'm ready to start the guy, just give him a chance as a throw-in. Unless we get a low to mid-range first rounder, he is just as good as some future second-rounder. Oh, and with the new rules, his zone-up game may make him more effective.

What centers out there may or will fare better anyway?
Shaq, Zo, Drob maybe???, Dream (wierd!?), JO'neal, Mutombo

The league is filled with crappy centers anway. So I'm sure Othella would do as good as a job than umm Cato will. Besides you can have Othella as insurance for those foul plagued games Cato has (proly gonna be alot). I guess giving away those fat contracts dosen't give us any room for 2.7 million dollar player who can really help this team out.
