    uhhh no

but if you really wanted us to tank, we could get Marbury and recreate the Knicks backcourt only with Alston/Marbury/Francis instead of Mardy Collins/Marbury/Francis.

For the right price, I would take him in a second...so we can trade him away. That seems to be what he's most useful for.

if you are referring specifically to me, then no, i am not suggestion we make Marbury our "major FA activity". my point was, if we can get him for next to nothing, then i may be willing to consider scenarios where he may fit. i really have no interest in Marbury...definitely not if we further risk losing Landry, or other potential "parts to the puzzle". i guess i should have just said, not interested.

You guys are being to hard on him, just because hes not right in the head doesnt make him a bad guy or a cancer. It used to make him a cancer but hes passed all that. You dont see the same Starbury guy he used to be, hes toned his game down alot to make room for his new ball dominant teammates.

Despite all this hes still more productive (when healthy) than Rafer among others. Hes actually trying to repair his image but he ends up looking foolish so people mock him instead of trying to see the gesture hes trying to make.

How on earth would adding Marbury help this team, especially at this stage of his career? I can't imagine taking him on would even be given serious consideration.

It makes him a constant distraction. I'm not trying to be smart or talk back. It's an honest response. I don't think you can ever separate it 100%. It's good that he's trying to clean it up, but at the end of the day it's not what you're trying to do that weighs heaviest, it's what you did do. At 31 years old, it's not his actions that are embarrassing, it's that he hasn't grown enough to realize what he's doing is inappropriate.

Besides, do you really want him running around Houston hitting on all our chicks? :D

If RA and Morey want him, I'll be OK with it!

I don't see any team in this league offering Marbury over the minimum.

    im down for marbury.

he can create and get to the hole way more than rafer can.

i say put him on a team that actually has something to play for and see what happens.

Marbury is like communism, really good in concept, cannot be used in real practice. Marbury needs to just go to Europe.

If we could fit him under the cap without giving up anything important, I'd sign him in a heartbeat. That's the third scoring option everybody keeps crying for... at, what i believe to be, our weakest starting position. If he acts up, ya have him pack up, if ya didnt mortgage anything for him, the potential upside is too great. It's the West.... and every year it gets better and more competitive.... ya gotta take your shots.
