Well, Gasol did have a CSI cameo, and Odom was in that Charles Barkley taco bell commercial during the Super Bowl that I doubt he gets if he's not in LA. Whether that's worth going to a crap team that will not be a championship team even with 2 elite free agents is another story.

They would all score 20 apiece, but realistically there is not enough time for them to all score 30 apiece. Also, if this superteam formed, you could be sure that other superteams would form: Durant/Howard/Rose for example. Of course, the "real" NBA would shrink from 30 teams to four or five.

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray LBJ with the Cavs will stay
and should DWade remain a Heat
I pray Chris Bosh through sign and trade will be in a Rocket seat
    Amen

dumb article. Totally not going to happen.

There is a reason why NY had been such a joke team for so long. Crying and begging ain't going to change that.

That money doesn't have to be the only thing that matters in life. They each take paycuts and they potentially have one of the greatest teams in the history of the league. Brady took a paycut because he wanted the Pats to stay at the top.

    Nope. Loss of Bird Rights.

these players aren't going to give up 30 million dollars when they can be competitive still without giving up 30 million dolaars, these pipedream stories, really? if you were wroth 60-80 million like bosh and someone says give up making another 30 million? i know everyone says if I had that much im good i can make a living with 1 million or whatever your number is, but usually those people are in the outside looking in period, these guys have a 12 year window to make as much as they can for the rest of their life, thats what they are going to do, for themselves, family, to keep up a lavish lifestyle, for whatever that they sacrificed to get where they are....its unrealistic

The Author is a writer because he failed in math class.

Someone needs to calculate how much money Bosh/Wade would give up if they took 11 mil instead of their max, assuming that they are eligible for another 4 year max extension after the current deal. I'm thinking it's ALOT more than 30 mil, more like 50 or 60.

Don't think they will acknowledge that they can't win by themselves and need to form a stacked team to win. Pretty sure if "winning was everything" you could just have the all star team all sign for vet min on some random team.......the idea is lame and the players know it.

    Lol agreed.

Like u said, lebron will probably get more money from endorsements if he went to the knicks. But wade and bosh most likely will not make back their money that is lost of a max contract from endorsements in ny as any major company would probably be wanting lebron rather than those two.
