hmmmm. Well, all these articles and rumors are pointing to Tmac being a problem. Seriously, where there is smoke, there is fire. I dont see how all the opinions and articles coming out at the same time can be coincidence. I personally believe tmac hates being blamed for everything while Yao gets love from his coaches and teammates.
This is a lie Blinebury is a lie everyone is lying on poor ole T-Mac Rocket River . . where there is smoke there is fire.
I know right, I mean all these different sources that are going out of their way to lie about Tmac. Adelman, Morey, Blinebury, Bucher, Feigen, Artest, Alston, teamates, doctors, ex teamates. Clearly they all have a vendeta against poor misunderstood Tmac. DD
then freakin' trade the guy if he's that bad. or bench him. suspend him. if they've done so much to show how bad he is in the locker room, then get the balls to bench him or trade him.
i feel really bad for little t......u almost wonder if he should just say screw it, take his ball and his $21M, and just go home .....errr, wait, he's already been doing that every other day
If it were my team I guarantee none of this would be happening, he would have been benched back in December and in a "Tough as nails" rehab program....and Adelman would have my boot up his arse getting the team going in the right direction. For all D. Morey has done right, he has cocked this one up royally. By the way, does this mean you finally get it? All these different sources saying the same thing, is this a eureka moment? DD
morey is the GM. he can't do everything. again, the way it's being portrayed, tracy no longer play with this team (there's no return basically). it's like his teammates can't tolerate him; adelman is done with him; so just bench the guy for the rest of the season. what's so hard about that? if both sides have given up on each other, there's no point in playing him. either trade him or bench him PS - i don't believe it's that bad b/c tracy's still part of the team. but again, if it's as bad as you say it is, do those things.
No, you are completely missing the point, I think (the same as Morey and Adelman it seems) that the team would be better with a motivated Tmac. I do not agree with how they are going about motivating him....and apparently neither does his teamates. This has gotten out of control and that is something that organizational leaders should not let happen. I know Morey understands numbers, but if this is how he is with dealing with people (read egos) he needs to pick up a book on management and get back to school because they have handled Tracy 100% wrong IMO. This could have been over before the year even started, and certainly should not be going on in January where a player is basically dictating when he can and can't play, that is absolute lunacy. And the GM's job is to run the show......so DM, get busy running the show, and put the performers back in their place. DD
i think there is some conflict going on with the team, but it's not beyond repairable. so it's not that bad where tracy is badmouthing or players are done with tracy. if you saw the thunder game, when tracy started well, a lot of guys cheered for him and was glad he was playing well (most notably deke, yao and scola). so again, there is some truth to the situation. but it's not "this bad." so that's why i think tracy will remain a rocket and everything will work out fine. starting from the philly game, i think the team has gotten to tracy (that's why you saw his effort went up in the philly and thunder game). on the other hand, if it's as bad as fran says it is (how his teammates are laughing at him, and right now just waiting for him to play so they can trade him), and how tracy is badmouthing yao, there is no longer a trust between tracy and the team. and if this trust is broken, it's beyond repair. and i think this situation is highly unlikely. ultimately, there is conflict within the organization regarding tracy, notably how his recovery has taken way too long for their liking, and his inconsistent play has frustrated them (and tracy)... and they have taken the steps to talk with him... all those things i believe. and all those things can be resolved. again, i look for us to have a 2nd half surge WITH tracy as usual. and i look for us to have a lot of momentum going into the playoffs, hopefully as a top 3 seed.
Because it has not happened every year, this is something completely different. His teamates have always come to his defense, this year, they are mocking him......that is not even close to the same thing. And, this year, he came into camp out of shape by not doing his rehab.....I don't care what he did these last 4 years......that holds no cache for this year.....he is gettting paid $21 million to produce this year......so go out and do it. And quit whining about shots when you are standing all alone at the center court stripe...and hanging your teamates out to dry by quitting on them on both ends of the court. DD
He was playing pretty well at the beginning of the year, but he decided to shut it down and has been sulking ever since. How long does the team wait? DD
There is a hate. About Thread: we'll see, won't we? If he gets suspended or traded we'll know. One side - TLovers or THaters will have to eat crow. ..until then, I consider none of them as true Rockets fans.
Hmm... Maybe for another 2 weeks considering our next back to back (hence missed game) is at the end of the month?
I expected better of you DD. I can understand your takes based on BlinDbury's blog, since he does cover the team consistently. But to put credence on this NY tabloid simply because it happens to agree with you?? As they say, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
