    The majority of the people here who do not want Rondo are only saying so because they think Lin will be involved in the package. Me, i don't think Morey would do that trade. It would set the team back to trade Jeremy now. Where would the scoring off the bench come from???
    We need Jeremy Lin!!!!!

    We don't need Lin. But we won't trade him because we'd have to give up too much to unload his contract this season.

    We have no starting PG. Bev can't run an offense. Jeremy can be flashy at times, but he makes way too many d-league mistakes.

    Both are end of bench players. But, Morey made it clear before the season started, this isn't a finished roster. We currently need PG's and PF's that can play on both ends. If Jones realizes his potential, he can be that PF we need, but he has to be a lot more consistent before we can say that role is filled.

    Asik and Lin for Rondo and Lee? Lee could be our bench scorer!
    I'm not sure if the numbers work out though... I mean Omer + Lin = a $16.6 million cap hit so Lee would have to make around like 4 to 5 million to make it work I think.

    Would love to have shumpert replace bev in our our 3 guard rotation with Lin & harden, but the Knicks are trying to sale to high... but I'm sure morey is trying to cook up something knowing perimeter defense and 3point shooting is a need. We have a few guards handy bev, brooks, brewer, cannan

    The funniest thing with all these Shumpert trade rumors is that we went from Shumpert-for-Faried being rejected by Denver, to now looking at Shumpert for Rondo and Asik.

    I fully expect Stat and Shumpert for Lebron soon. Logic being "Miami will lose Lebron next year anyway, and this will help start their rebuilding process by adding Shumpert."

    At this point and after finding out about Shumpert's third knee surgery, I would rather have Bev as he is way cheaper and his defense is better than Shump's.

    There is no reason to point out his 3PT% because he knows his game and he takes like 1 a game... His 2PT% (the shots he does take) is great!

    So you want Harden to completely change his game and become a spot up shooter? How are the lanes going to be open for Harden/Parsons to drive?
