These teams know the score. Carmelo wants to play in NY or LA, and that leaves four teams.

Lakers = no, for a number of reasons
Clippers = won't cough up their new big man
NJ = won't cough up Lopez
    NY = not enough assets

In the end, he'll go to either the Nets or Knicks and Denver won't get the assets they wanted.

And you know what, the Nuggets should have seen this coming and traded Carmelo on draft day when it would have been easier to get something done.

Man....I wish a decision would be made already, I'm sick of waiting for something to happen. Sign us Damp, trade us Melo or Randolph....Let the Rockets fans settle in before the season gets going. Not only that, but I want ALL the 2010-2011 team to be all together during training camp so we can make the best start possible to this season.

Going to say I agree with DD when he say's it's going to be very exciting, just wait and see.

Hes not thick enough to play center! He would stretch the floor at the 4 spot with us probably!

Anybody who wouldn't give up Jordan Hill for Randolph is seriously smoking some good stuff.

    Dude is legit!

We certainly don't have anyone with that length and athleticism today. I'd be happy to snag him from amongst whatever deal eventually goes down.

    He does virtually everything well!

Rebound, block shots, hustle, has a pretty jumper and plays well off the ball.

He would definetly be a crowd favorite.

He said "thick" not quick. Randolph is too scrawny to be a good center in this league. However him alone is worth more than the swap or 2012 pick NY has. I'd "help" the Knicks by doing a Randolph for a NY pick, then I'll go around and flip Randolph and Hill for an upgrade at the C spot. I think we can convince Memphis to trade us Marc Gasol for Anthony Randolph and Jordan HIll. Or, we can use Randolph as the core of a package for another SF like Granger or Iggy. The possibilities are endless...

he's only 10lbs lighter than camby. i'm pretty sure that at 21 years old he can still gain some muscle. he has a 7'3 wingspan and a 9'1 standing reach with a 35" vert and a 3.26 3/4 court sprint... he is long enough to play center with the leaping ability/quickness of a guard. this guy would be an instant mismatch at center or pf.

If we trade for Randolph, he is the keeper. You then have Hill and Patterson as trade assets.

I would do Hill and the 2011 swap for Randolph and a future first.

keep hill and dump both NY picks.

if the knicks record is near ours or better, the option to swap picks is worthless. and next year's pick will be a later first rounder. might as well dump them now for a guy like randolph, or at least chandler.

Randolph is an expiring contract and it was only last season where his agent was telling the media his price for a new contract would be in the $8M+ range.

I think he'd be the one that gets flipped later in the season.
