That kings insider said the same last week.
And it makes sense for boston because the clock is ticking. If they also get gallinari especially.

    They probably offer zeller/sully + hunter + two first (dallas,boston 2016)
    Or smth like that.
Its very difficult for a trade to happen because of the gms.

Conspiracy at its finest. Release Dwight then have the Celtics claim for the minimum him while shooting us the Nets 1st round pick straight up. Then he opts out and signs here in the offseason while we draft a future superstar being Ben Simmons or Jaylen Brown... hell even Kris Dunn.

Give me Thomas, Turner and David Lee / Amir. We can give them Dwight + KJ.

If the Rockets have let Dwight know that they won't pay him more than 20 mil a season on his next contract, and Dwight and his people let the Rockets know that's unacceptable, then Morey better be looking to move him before the trade deadline.

If the plan is to go back to the drawing board and rebuild the roster, trading Dwight makes a helluva lot more sense than resigning him.

I'm sure the Celtics would be interested in getting Howard...but I don't see Morey trading him unless Morey knows Howard's gone in the summer.

Without Howard...we are screwed on the boards and interior defense.

    I could see a 3 way trade...

    Howard to the Celtics
    Deandre Jordan to the Rockets
    ??? to the Clippers

    maybe add a 4th team

This is Morey (or Dwight's agent) ringing the bell.

    Come and get it!

That's all I care about. A good coach will maximize what he gets out of whatever team he has assembled. A mediocre coach will squander star-level talent. Yes, elite players have more an influence in basketball than probably any other sport, but if you look at the majority of teams that have won championships in the NBA, they've also had excellent, often hall-of-fame coaches.

I would love Horford and Teague for D12 and PBev... Put Horford back with Josh. I think it would work.

    This!

I know it may be against the rules but why don't just figure it out now behind close doors... be like look dwight this is going to be our offer 4/80mil

are you going to agree to it?

you may be able to get max elsewhere but we obviously need more talent are you on board?

if not these are the teams that are willing to make a trade for you if you are willing to sign an extension for more then our offer

which team would you agree to sign max with?

Dwight, KJ, Thorton for Lee, Bradley, and Zeller plus Bos 2016 1st and Dallas 2016 1st.

This is the minimum I would take to give up Dwight and the leverage on the 5th year option to resign him to a respectable non max contract next year.

Then can make other moves maybe for someone like Teague and a center.

that doesn't make much sense. Didn't work back then, why wouldn't it even work at their tail end of their careers
