Anybody have a Nvidia 6600 card? Or a 6600 GT card? I'm wondering if these cards are any good. The prices are decent, but IIRC there were articles about the disapoint in them.

BEST BUY has a deal if you buy a BFG card right now, you get a free pc game up to $49.99 value....the $40 MIR just ended for the BFG 6800GT OC card....I would have grabbed this had I knew about it earlier.

I'd rather buy a 6800 vanilla card (with 256 RAM) and try to unlock the pipelines and vertex shaders.

Be sure which model you are getting as some 6800 only come with 12 pipelines instead of 16 with 4 pipelines disabled.

Looks like I'm getting a eVGA 6800GT for $319....Doesn't look like I'm buyin a console, time to stick with the PC.
