    Hospitals regularly give Boost and Ensure to patients. I've never seen or heard of one giving SlimFast.

    I've been on liquid diets before. I've done medically supervised diets for months with nothing but protein shakes. That's as liquid as it gets without malnutrition. Let me tell you, liquid diets can and will constipate you. You need to find out from the doctors what will be done to prevent this (stool softener, etc.)
