    Just say it already! :D

Let me try to guess who this thing:

Has to be a better player than Artest if he's a higher goal. Can't be Kidd or Bibby. Can't be a player that can't help right now. Can't be a player on a current playoff or championship contender. Point guard, shooting, and front court depth are needs. Who works within those bounds?

    J. O'Neal? Carter? Redd? Hinrich?

None of those scenarios, for various reasons, are better than Artest and Lowry except maybe Michael Redd.

Maybe a Mike James for KT swap would make sense.

I'm just worried because we haven't played any of the teams with their new pieces yet. Don't know how we will match up against Suns, Lakers, Mavs, now the Nuggets.

OK, I might be undervaluing Artest (or you guys are over-valuing him...one or the other) judging by your list. Let me phrase that the player would be a better fit for the Nugs needs and is similar talent-wise. I promise you, if I could tell more, I would. If the deadline comes without a deal, and the guy says it's ok to say something, I'll post who it was and all of the other minor deals we had going. To ease your mind, I will say that until it was announced that he was a Laker, the Nugs front office was VERY confident they were getting Gasol.

Denver has strong interest in West. That was one of the minor deals that we have going dependent on if the bigger deal is done.

Isn't Diawara a 2, and Carter a 1? Artest is too big to play 2 any ways.

Can only be Mike Miller. I'm fine with you getting Mike Miller, if we get Cassell and Artest!

Whose on the block? Nene and change? Any chance they part with Camby/AI? (I assume Melo is the only real untouchable) Or if someone would save Denver and take KMart

    No.

Apparently that message was too short. This is just filler.

Elton Brand and Sam Cassell or Maggette. Brand would blow minds though.

Caron Butler? I don't see why Wizards wants to move him. But if this is the guy you are talking about, Nuggets will be really scary if they can get it done.

The "bigger deal" was pulled off of the table by the other team it sounds like. I'll reveal it after the deadline. Supposedly going after Artest now, but don't want to trade Kleiza.

Still in the mix to get a back-up point.
