You wouldn't trade him for a 20 year old Karl Malone, a 22 year old Paul Pierce and a 24 year old Shawn Marion? Remeber that's your dumb logic not mine. I am only using it.
About 1200 different phrases I could use right now to insult you with. That is if I felt it was worth it. Nice to see you calling people trolls, I am a sucker for a good irony. How about you stay in your place, and never try and make yourself look above anyone again.
i would not trade yao ming for stoudamire and marion. the other 5 guys in that list are role players, including johnson, and don't really swing the deal for me. seeing his improvement i am convinced yao's only about 2 years or less away from being the absolute most dominant player in the league.
I dunno about the Ngz, but tell you what I know: The Lakers games in Denver will be the pinnacle of the NBA season.
Sheesh relax I am not a troll dude lets just stop this because you have 1200 and I have 1200 also so lets not turn this into mudslinging I started and I am sorry
But I also think that the whole "would not trade yao for stoudemire etc "is kind of ridiculous. The only reason not to do that trade is that centers are hard to come bye. I mean your talking about one guy for two solid players. But we'll see; I think the jury as to who will be a bigger impact player in the future (yao or Amare) is still out. This Year will definately clear the air. I for one think that the thread below about who will be a greater rival in the future is a good one. And I have mantained in the Past that these two teams will have great battles. I alos dont think they will be duking it out for the last playoff spot. I think they will be competing for 6th and 7th and possibly 5th. Anyone who is a basketball fan will enjoy it when these teams play. Now that I have stated the obvious let me say that Yao is great but I dont think anyone will ever be as dominant as Shaq...Plus we are arguing about amare and Yao when this thread was based of a story by some fool who got himself kicked out of an NBA game...
bhanchod, it would be greatly appreciated if you did not speak of things unless you are sure of their accuracy - there's simply no truth to the quoted statement above. I've never made so much as a single post on azcentral.com. Whatsmore, I frown upon the use of profanity as I find it to be a crutch for those that can't otherwise make do without. In this instance, I believe you have me confused with someone else. It is true that I have swapped dialogue with suns fans before, engaged in some inspired and informed debate, and a few have decided that I am not quite their cup of tea, which is fine. I can assure you though that it has all been through light-hearted ribbing which is part of what makes being a fan so fun. None of which, mind you, has involved profane language on my part. So again, I request that you refrain from speaking of things of which the accuracy is in doubt. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. And now, regarding the Nuggs: What a great time to be a Denver diehard, folks! When Issel got bucked off the bull, Kiki jumped in, grabbed it by the horns, wrestled it to the ground, branded its hide with a big KV, and he's now the proud owner of a beast that's ready to run. If you all want to watch some uptempo hoops with some thunderous dunks peppered in (brought to you by the powerful armstrength of Nene), fire up your League Pass and switch it to Nuggs games from time to time this season. It won't always be pretty, but it'll be a heckuvalot less ugly than what you might have grown to expect out of the Nuggets. Peaceness, sherky
impressive touche nice vocabulary. I gotta hand it to you. I' m sorry for some reason I thought you were dale. My bad. I feel badly about my uneducated comments
Oh, the jury's in and they have the verdict in their hands. Face it...Yao is so much more skilled at everything in the game except perhaps at posterization. But he handled Big Ben nicely. Analysts of the NBA and other teams are already predeicting that Yao Ming will be the best C in the league in the near future and some even proclaim he will be a top 3 Big man - Duncan, Garnett, Yao. Personally, I think the sky's the limit. I'm a homer, yes, but Amare is just not as impacting as Yao (also considering he plays with 2 All-Stars that Phoenix depends the most on anyways).
nothing wrong with being a homer. but I still think the jusy is out. Yao has all starts around him too. This year will put the debate to rest. Although we may not agree I think we can agree on the fact that it will be a fun year to watch.
