Why would DEN want that than Jones, Pap (expiring), Dorsey, cash and a 1st/2nd?

If I'm Denver, I would trade Lawson this instance to the highest bidder. Ty obviously doesn't want to be there, why keep him?

Only if we do him a solid in return.

    Bye DMo/Jones/Dekker/Harrelll/1st/2nd!

You gotta ask your self after multiple DUI's if this guy has the maturity and self control to handle a deep run in the playoffs. Seems like a loose cannon.

I will give a handjob to Hinkie if he can let us keep DMo.

Silver is having a press conference now in Vegas,

I wonder if he will be asked about the Lawson situation.

I think Lawson has underlying depression and alcoholism is making it worse. He needs rehabilitation and mental health treatment in my opinion.

He should not be playing professional basketball and driving until he is mentally and physically healthy.

I wish him well. I think most teams including our Houston Rockets will avoid him and take a waiting approach.

I gotta believe someone would toss Denver expiring contracts for Lawson... waiving just makes no sense....

More like, Home of NBA Villians!

Harden - "Flop Master, Sir No Defense, Mr. Free Throws Only, 13 Turnovers, Anti-Christ of the NBA, Not a Superstar or best SG in the game"
Howard - "Mr. Doesn't take the game serious, Can't hit free throws, Spurned The Best Franchise Ever, Always Smiles, Doesn't like Kobe, Can't handle the bright lights of LA, P*ssy"
Beverley - "Reason why OKC didn't win a title in 2013, Goon Master"
Ariza - "Touched Curry, secret Goon"
Smith - "Anti-Christ of Analytics, Detroit got better once he left, was paid to LEAVE"
Morey - "Thinks he is too smart of the game, Doesn't care about chemistry, Cares more for ping pong than improving the team"

I really hope Hinkie sees this. I just know he would jump on the opportunity.

oh but you think Houston will not only give up Jones but also agree to pay Lawson's salary ?
I dont'. I think it's more likely we only get him if he's bought out.

I think if Hinkie picks him up he will end up in Houston in February but we WILL have to give Hinkie a good asset. Say goodbye to Dekker and Kj (if we sign him)

I doubt anybody is going to offer anything substantial.

Teams will likely wait until he is waived.

I do think he'll clear waivers. If Morey can get him between vet min and full MLE, he'll do it. He won't pay a penny over MLE, imo..

That's because he can't though right? I mean all we have is the MLE and not a penny more.

I thought we could sign and trade for him... Maybe not though since he would, in this situation, be released.

SLOW DOWN. White has played 9 min and ZERO points in the NBA. Lawson has real talent. He is troubled to some degree but he could get help for whatever his real problems maybe. White was a clown, all about him.

No if he traded it'd be for his full and current salary. If he's waived and clears waivers then he's a UFA and goes where ever he wants. Whatever salary he gets is on top of his buyout or salary paid by DEN.

If in the unlikely event he gets waived it'll come down to teams with cap space left or exceptions left.

While I do think Lawson needs professional help, his situation in Denver is not helping. Dysfunctional locker room, 3 coaches now within the last 9 months, a front office that is clearly trying to get rid of him.

If he's moved, he needs to go to a team that has a built in support system.

On another note, how the hell do these guys not have professional drivers? No reason to be drinking and driving man, come on, you're rich enough to stay out of that situation.

Not so sure a team like LA would pick him up with $25,000,000 left on his deal and his personal life spiraling out of control. He has had two DUI charges, a domestic dispute charge, issues with multiple coaches and a creepy dependence on social media.

Last Lawson's game slipped a little defensively and he wasn't quite as quick. The assumption was playing for a bad team and questionable but controllable transgressions off the court played a part.

With ANOTHER DUI you have to consider that Lawson is quite likely an alcoholic and playing NBA basketball at an elite level is hard sober.

A number of teams will want him as a released free agent, and I am sure that includes the Rockets. However getting someone like Lawson is playing with fire. He is not suddenly going to clean up his act, and if he is able to keep under control, the fear is when will the shoe drop and he gets another DUI?

I actually think the Rockets would be an excellent fit for him on and off the court. McHale would treat him like a man when he deserved it and not just his ass just to bust it. Harden would keep him clean.
